Ovidio Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Fresno

This is our second time ordering from Ovidio's. And this is the second time my wife and I have agreed that this is among the best Italian food we've ever had. To be perfectly honest, Im a very picky eater, but tonight I sampled my wife's order of spicy mussels, as well as her tortelloni al pesto and I enjoyed them very much. My chicken alfredo has been delcious on each occasion as well. The kicker is we have eaten the food after 40 minutes of sitting after transportation, due to where we live. I don't leave many reviews, but the kicker today was that the employee, who I assume is typically is the hostess, is among the most professional individuals I have met in a setting such as this (unfortunately I didn't get her name!) She so politely managed a busy work flow while training another employee and she ensured that the croutons for the spicy mussels were included (and holy heck they were good). During my long wait at the vet I became hungry so I looked around to see what was nearby and Ovidio popped up, Italian is my favorite, as the nearest food place. I had never heard of this place so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I called a little after two but they said they didn't open until three but they did let me place my order and offered to call me immediately when it was ready, now that is excellent customer service. They called, before three, and told me it was ready. As soon as I walked in they asked how my friends dog was doing, that was so sweet, and then got my order, Calzone and side salad, and rang me up. The food was so delicious, the price was excellent, and the service was impeccable, thank you Ovidio, I will definitely be going back again and again. For the last few months, the Fresno County Legal Professionals Association (FCLPA) has been hosting its monthly seminar dinner in the banquet room at Ovidio. The room is separated from the restaurant and bar by walls, doors, and sliding partitions. It has its own door to the outside.

The restaurant is located in a shopping center at Marks and Bullard in Fresno. Restrooms are very clean. Food is wonderful. Service is outstanding. Vegetarian options are available for persons with dietary restrictions, and the servers and cooks are happy to provide accommodations for those restrictions. The restaurant, banquet room, and restroom are accessible to persons with disabilities.
