I ordered the quesabirrias. First the quesabirria are small-medium size. Each quesabirria taco is $5, I ordered two so it came out to $11 I believe plus tax. These quesabirrias I would rate 7/10. They’re good but they’re the minimum of what a quesabirria should be. The toppings were great and thank you for the good amount. Other than that, the flavor was really lacking. Maybe I’m spoiled because my aunt owns a business and does an amazing job and I have other quesabirria vendors near me. That being said I’ve tried many, which is why I was curious about this place. I ensured I held my appetite to see how my tastebuds would enjoy this meal. I’m a bit disappointed but like I said, it’s the minimum of what this item should be. The consomé was great. Other than that, this would be an ideal place to introduce others to them but not a definitive spot for the greatest. I’m a personal cook too, so I know every cook has their own flavor preferences in the mix. Meat definitely needs more spices. Without the toppings and lemon and consomé, is how you know whether the meat is flavorful. And I tried it without and it was definitely lacking.
