Second time here within the last 6 months. This visit was not good based off my order today of the house special fried rice and the spicy beef. The fried rice was good. I certainly can make better at home. Fried rice should never be expensive especially since it is I am assuming day old rice. If this is the house special fried rice, it was really lacking a lot. It should be loaded with protein and it should look like you take pride in it. I only found a few pieces of shrimp, maybe some chicken, and no beef which it was supposed to have according to the many menus that I saw online. Many pictures of the menu are very old and it did not reflect the current prices. The other item that I ordered was the spicy beef and it was loaded with beef and a lot of largely cut bell peppers. The beef was very chewy. The beef needed to be tenderized properly. A little baking soda to tenderize the beef would have fixed the problem. The dish needs a lot of work. For the price that I paid for my 2 dish amounted to $28!! This is not fair to anyone. For the location of this restaurant, this should never be this high. Note to owner, some updating on your cooking skills is needed. Tenderize your beef please. Another note to the restaurant, do not hand customers a messy bag with gravy all over it. Cause most people aren't taking it home and how are people going to share the order with a...
Read moreMind you I came here on a busy day. It was Christmas, so I was glad that they were open. I was grateful and I understood why it took a long time for food to get out. With them likely being short staffed and had tons of orders to fulfill. I was patient, I was told 30 minutes, which became, an hour and 30 minutes. I stayed inside waiting. Once I got my order I hurried out. Inside was cramped, the decor seemed like it was thrown together with no overall theme. The lighting was odd. The food was a let down. The noodles were either brunt or not cooked all the way. The consistency of the noodles was more like thick spaghetti instead of chow mein. The sauce for the pork was meh, like I knew it was sweet pork, but it should of been called candy pork. The other meats that we had were questionable. The rice...well the rice was okay, nothing to rave about. The shrimp was probably the only thing that was eaten without complaint. No one even finished half of their food. When I got home I recooked it, I threw in some onion powder, garlic powder and water and it elevated the food to something more edible and less greasy and chalk full of msg. Not going to be eating there again, nor would I...
Read moreI would like to say that the food was good, but the service was really terrible. We ordered $50 worth of food and went to pick up. We went back to the van to eat, and noticed the egg rolls weren’t in the bag. No big deal, things like that happen. So I walked back up to the takeout window to explain that they weren’t in the bag. Three separate workers came out and said if I wanted the egg rolls, I would have to bring in all the unpacked food to prove they weren’t there. I went to the van to take pictures as I was not comfortable carrying open food to the takeout window with everyone standing around it during a pandemic. So I brought the photos back and showed them that there were no egg rolls but they continued to argue with me that they needed to see the food. I offered for them to come to the van and look in the door. They did not want to accept that as an option. Only after arguing with them and becoming upset were they willing to finally give me the egg roll. This was...
