My family loves Deli Delicious and we order from there 3 or 4 times a month, usually through Door Dash. We were really excited when the Tower District location opened, only to be consistently disappointed. Order a spinach wrap? Get a lettuce wrap. Specify no wax peppers? Get extra. Order extra dressing for a salad? Get cucumbers instead. Not a single order has been correct, from wraps to salads, to sandwiches. The last time we ordered, my daughter's food was completely left off the order. She wanted curly fries, which were no longer being offered but still on the online menu. No one from Deli Delish reached out to me to let me know, they just didn't make them. When I called, the manager said she was too busy making sandwiches and I could come get regular fries. she had no explanation for why I wasn't called or why they charged my credit card for something they knew was no longer available. She was flippant and disrespectful. I'm still waiting on my order credit to be refunded to my credit card and will be notifying my bank to challenge the transaction. I will be ordering from another DD location...
Read moreI have been back many times since my initial review and gave to say thaf this Deli-Delicious is now one if my favirite places to get my sandwiches and salads. The staff is usually on the ball, friendly, helpful and attentive. The ower (Alex) is on it and genuine. I still wish music non-conducive to rekaxing would be consider which is why I take my food home. Still, I really enjoy my neighborhood Deli-Delicious. :-)
THE GOOD & THE BAD! I very much enjoyed my Turkey and Avocado on wheat sandwich (#24) but I did have my disappointments with the store itself. 1) The parking lot in front of the store was full as it was overtaken by the Playhouse next door. When I mentioned the problem inside, I was informed that Deli-Delicious has only 1 available parking spot within the parking lot. 2) The BAD music inside was LOUD and obnoxious. (Why have loud music in an eatery?)3) Additionally, while the service was not terrible, it lacked the friendliness of most public eateries. I will go back because I did really enjoy my sandwich but, I may just have to take it to...
Read moreMy first visit was good, nothing spectacular and it was around 1:30 in the afternoon. My next visit a week or so later was spectacular. The owner was present and the sandwich was very good. My third and last visit was on a Monday at 11:50am. I had to repeat the order three times and then he asked me "what kind of bread"? Unbelievable. The employee was punching buttons like crazy on the computer, but was evivently not taking my order. The sandwich, a number 38, was on old bread... very dry, no cheese, it comes with cheese on the sandwich and only one slice of meat of each on a number 38. I did not go back up to the counter because the line was to the door and there was an air of chaos in the store. It a shame a restaurant can`t function without the owner present.
Also every table was dirty, even the window counter with crumbs, I cleaned the whole window counter...
