Denny's — Restaurant in Fresno

I usually like this place my family and I come every Saturday as a treat for the kids and on random days thru the month the staff is usually friendly (we assumed because we come so much) but tonight was different.. Our Waiter was a bit rude.. I always order the crazy spicy skillet no egg.. She gave me one with eggs I pointed it out and told her I don't mind keeping it I just didn't wanna pay extra jokingly.. She said oh no that's someone else's (as I was eating the potatos) and said she would switch it.. I was shocked and wondered how many times Iv eaten food someone else ate from first then the new cold skillet has cheddar cheese on it, Iv never seen that and don't like cheddar so I asked when they started adding it she said its always been there rolled her eyes and walked away.. I pulled the melted cheddar off myself trying not to complain again and ate around it. Then when I approve the counter the manager is having a conversation with someone sitting on the side and ignores me for a bit until I stepped all the way up to the counter, I realised they charged me for my daughters mashed potato meal that she usually gets free on Tuesday nights.. He told me there was no mashed potato meal I said its on the menu Iv gotten it before, staying calm then he got upset claiming it can only be a side order,.. I said OK like 5 times but he kept going then stopped and said you know what I'll take it off this time but never again. I replied your right because I'll never come here again I come here very often and have never been treated with such rude disrespect for no reason he turned from me and proceeded to help someone else so I left without my receipt I was so upset.. Never again this was the rudest couple of employes I'd ever encountered I was so embarrassed at how he spoke to me in front of other customers while I never raised my voice nor disrespected him once but if I would've I would've been labeled a mad black woman and I wasn't gonna give them the...

Terrible service. I work nearby and order take out here sometimes. I always check the take out bag in the restraunt because they, without fail, always forget something every single time! They forget the salad dressing, forks, knives, and sometimes entire sides or entrees are missing or just not what I ordered. Sides like fries or salad are almost non existent in the take out box. They just put whatever they can fit into their undersized take out boxes making the portions much smaller than if you had ordered the same item in the dinning room. It makes you regret ordering things like fries or side salads because you get ripped off for them. Which sucks because I want a side salad with my lunch but I don't want to pay 2 dollars for a small hand full of cheap lettuce and cabbage. Keep your order simple don't ask for things like a different cheese on your sandwich or no ketchup because they won't remember. The order is never ready when they say it will be. In fact most of the time when I arrive to pick up the order they haven't even started making it yet and I sit in the restraunt for 20 or 30 minutes waiting despite that I called in and arrived at the scheduled time. The staff is extremely rude when asked to fix their mistakes. I think it's obvious that since, they don't get tips for take out orders, they don't care and you are wasting time they could be serving tipping customers. They treat take out costumers like they are an annoying pest. If I didn't work nearby I probably would never give this Dennys...

I like reviews because I’m big on customer service. Just like that. The young gentlemen Chris with the American flag face mask greeted us well and let us know our wait time. 15-20min fair. We took a seat and of course you see everyone in and out. It was about 1230pm and this elderly gentleman walked in and Chris had seen right before he was about to walk in the second door because he had just finished telling a couple bye. He looked down at his clip board n the elderly man was right in the first register. Chris looked up n walked off he was basically ignoring him there. Idk there were other workers who walked at the register, she was counting money or something and the man spoke to her but she walked off. I heard him. That bothered me, Chris came back as the girl was walking away and at this point. Chris couldn’t deny his presence. He still didn’t say anything to him nor even have him the respect to look at him. The workers cleared the register. At this point the man went to the table with the orders and then Chris came back so the man went up to Chris and said “I’m here to” Chris still did not look up at him!!!! So freaking rude. And responded “you’re here for what sir” and took care of his payment. Terrible customer service. It was beyond me that he really did that, I felt so bad because what did the man do? He just wanted his food so he could eat.

My server was whatever, didn’t catch her name so I won’t bother but other than that....
