can't believe it took me so long to come here! I live right up the street. I really wanted a breakfast burrito. I looked up the menu and YAY, they had bacon breakfast burritos! And at a decent price.
I went and ordered 3 to-go, 2 chorizo and my bacon. The guy at the counter was cheerful and friendly, and my order came out quickly. He was generous with the salsa cups (red). That made me happy as I am a glutton for hot sauce.
My first thought as I picked up the bag... This thing is heavy! This can't be 3 burritos! But yup... On a visual check, 3 ginourmous burritos. What have I done!
OMG! This thing was huge! And Delicious! The beans were amazing.... The eggs nice and fluffy... And the bacon, perfect, thick, well cooked. All the flavors mixed into bites of pure bliss. And the red sauce, it tied is all together with a wonderful kick.
I only got a third of the was into my burrito when I hit a wall. So much food. It ended up taking all day for me to finish it. But it was so good!
Go and get one off these breakfast burritos! It will...
Read moreWorst wet burrito ever. I arrived there early in the morning, and was handed salsa and chips, just like any other typical Mexican restaurant. Only difference is there salsa was frozen that when I tried to dip my chip in the salsa, the salsa literally broke my chip. I ordered a asada wet burrito, with green sauce. After receiving my burrito I could see that my burrito was fried and that's typically something I see on chimichangas, not wet burritos. Another thing I noted was that there was barely any cheese on top, like if they just sprinkled it, as if they were being cheesepairing (stingy) with it. After diving into my wet burrito I started to notice there was hardly any asada and the bulk of it consisted nothing but rice and beans. If I wanted a rice and bean burrito I would've asked for one! At the end I couldnt consume the whole burrito and was able to finish one third of the burrito 🤢🤮. This is not all the things I noted, their is the no flavor to asada, consistent fat on the asada, sparse green sauce, and more. Never again...
Read moreLiterally full hour wait, staff should’ve presented extensive wait time. Nothing like Clinton & Chestnut location (fast and efficient). Could’ve dined in and had complimentary chips and water, at no point by staffing any humility, humble act or compensation. Hardly anyone there to have to wait. Probably one chef back there but man ridiculous experience. Will just have to drive halfway cross town to get or eat food faster. Have been to Lety’s Clinton and Chestnut numerous times. Just wanted to give the smaller location a shot, terrible mistake never again. Lesson learned.
2nd review after opening food Ask for molcajetes no napales, ensure that this is the all meats version, so means not seafood molcajete version. The all meat chorizo, asada, chicken, make sure the queso is in there.
Not the molcajete I ordered. Before you pack the bag, you should present what we are leaving with.
Will expect a refund, would like for a management response as well. Time wasted and...
