Writing this review is something I thought I’d never do. I came here Thursday afternoon, I have been here a handful of times before. My family has enjoyed this place. Thursday afternoon around 3 pm I’m I met my family here. I was the first to arrive I was seated and greeted. I notice a young thin Hispanic boy with black hair arrive to work with a dirty apron, biting his nails and taking gunk out of his eyes. Yikes. So gross he immediately serves salsa (never washes his hands). I made sure he wasn’t my server and told the other server who was the owners son my concern, he doesn’t seem alarmed but focuses on he will be the one helping me. My bill was 95.00 bucks my server got two orders so wrong. I mean when I tell you I was disappointed I was beyond that. My chicken enchiladas were ground beef and the sauce was awful bright red and smelled like shrimp. I did not eat it but was charged. He got my brothers order wrong too. I did not eat what the server said was he wrote our orders correctly the cook made it wrong. Terrible my mother, father, grandmother, cousins, friends brothers, sisters...
Read moreAs I walked in there was a lady making hand made tortillas and pressing them by hand on the wooden presser. Already you knew this place was going to slap. Sat down at the bar, and me and my buddy ordered some Micheladas, they came in a chilled stein, it was frosty, Tajin and candy rim with lime, shrimp and a candy straw. The mix of the Michelada was delicious, spicy, lemony, the perfect mix. That alone was worth it. The food we received was muy delicioso!! Asada quesadilla as an appetizer was great, came with guac, the entree was carne asada cooked to perfection with delicious beans, rice and corn tortillas that were hand made earlier. The salsa was a molcajete style salsa, chunky and spicy, full of Pura vitamina. All in all it's definitely worth a revisit. I've been there twice already but decided to...
Read moreWe haven't eaten here for a few years ,but now i know why. We ordered albondiga soup and ceviche to go , when we got home to eat the albondiga soup there was no flavor to the soup so i went for my lemon and there was no lemon. I opened my rice container that went with the soup in it wete two slivers of lime dried up . Wow heres the kicker my carrots in my soup were brown you know how carrots get when they start to rot. I would recommend splitting up the rice so it looks like it was just cooked the rice i had was clumped together as if it was pulled from the refrigerator to the styrofoam container. The ceviche lacked flavor. I understand prices are higher after covid , but seasonings are pretty close the same price and if you buy bulk its a...
