The highly anticipated coffee house from the people who gave you Heirloom and Saizon is now officially open. I came in to check it out on the official 3rd day and was impressed in so many ways. The beauty and simplistic nature makes me feel like I’m at my favorite coffee houses in Santa Cruz or San Luis Obispo. The restaurant is spacious, offering numerous sitting areas for people to gather or simply type on their laptops.
One thing I really like is the fantastic and relatively large food menu none of my biggest complaints with coffeehouses is that I’m typically forced to eat a cookie or muffin as my food. While they have those options available, they also have breakfast sandwiches and an assorted other hot food items. I tried to Spicy egg breakfast sandwich, which is one of the best things I’ve had in a long time.
Did I mention their large and comfy heated patio? This is will great for cold mornings like today (45 degrees) or beautiful spring or fall mornings where the shades can be rolled up.
I feel grateful to have these restaurantuers in our community providing us all with another unique...
Read moreThis place is aesthetically pleasing, just as much as most Bay Area or LA coffee shops are. People are jumping at it because it’s in Fresno/Clovis, but coffee/tea was standard—nothing to write home about. The average pricing reflects the average taste so at least it wasn’t $8 for a latte, which you sometimes encounter in LA or bay. They use a good quality espresso bean. I came with my friend at 1:30pm on a Sunday, line was out the door and waited 25 minutes to order. I had my 5lb dog in a baby sling not touching the ground, where we went inside to order and were told I couldn’t have her since their patio is enclosed. So just be aware this establishment is not pet friendly. However, gentleman who told me this information was extremely friendly and professional in his delivery. He was sympathetic to the fact that we had waited 25 minutes just to order and then were told we couldn’t stay.. so he gave us the drinks on the house. Much appreciated. Overall, 4 stars. Can’t see myself going out of the way for this one again, but not bad if I am in the area and want to...
Read moreFirst time here and I gonna say it’s about average. It wouldn’t be a place that I’m going to rave about. I’m gonna brag that I came and tried and it’s okay. I had the Spiced Ube and it was okay for me. The spice really threw me off but my wife liked it. It needed a little more Ube flavor and the spices hit too hard for me. We ordered the Tri Tip Cobb which was a a wrap. It was good but I felt that it was just a way to wrap a tri tip salad. It was good but I’d try something else next time. Now the item that stands apart, the raspberry donut was really good. They used real raspberry to glaze their donut. I highly recommend this one. I had also tried an ice matcha and this one was also okay. The matcha was average. The atmosphere is busy but you could carry a conversation with people at your table, no problem. This is an order first and then find a seat. Not my first choice if and when I’m looking for a place for...
