Richie's Pizza & Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Fresno

I’ve ordered twice from Richie’s, and the pizza is very good. I have to say that it was very enjoyable both times. The only issue I had was the service was lacking. The initial visit, the employee was nice enough, he didn’t treat us extraordinary or anything, but I don’t expect him to, he did his job as he was supposed to and that is great. But the second time however, the employee (different guy) just seemed very cold and not at all personable. Maybe it was because it was getting close to closing time, I don’t know, but closing time or not, I feel as if one ought to treat customers in a friendly manner. It’s not going to stop me from going back, their pizza is a very redeeming quality for this company, and I have yet to try the hot dogs, so I’ll definitely be back. On the other hand, I don’t need to to be treated as a king, I understand just normal customer service and that suffices, but don’t make me feel like I’m a bother to you when I’m helping you...

I was very disappointed today, the DJ and crowd made me want to walk away, seeing people dancing in the walkway (they made it hard to order) and dancing in the street looked very ghetto. Ordering my pizza was a nightmare my wife and I went just for the pizza and instead we had to yell and shout just to order even told the guy what’s going on this is horrible . The pizza was nasty not made correctly no sauce, no cheese Little Ceasers makes way better pizzas. If they can go back to the normal place that we know and expect it would be a 5 star. Even vendors across the street said “they changed so much and they are all over the place it’s messy. No more lines like before and now I know why! This place used to be the most awesome pizza place in the Tower District! Pizza was nice and hot, ready for pick up when they said it would be and great service... however, the past year, 4 times I have ordered over the phone and when I showed up to pick up, I was told that they "forgot to make my order". When I told the attendant that I was told 20 minutes, he yelled, "he forgot and that's it!" The pizza has also suffered: you can no longer fold it to eat as you would NY style pizza; everything just falls off, and the bread just falls apart as it is partially raw. Our pizza last night was so greasy that it leaked through the box onto the dining room table. The toppings were not correct either. We asked and paid for pepperoni and black olives and only got pepperoni. We prefer to support Tower businesses but we are going to have to move...
