Sushi Day — Restaurant in Fresno

Not impressed at all. We came right when they opened, 1st customers there. We ordered take out, paid (included a tip), sat down to wait, then people began trickling in. Eventually the place got so full a waitress asked us to stand so she could seat a family where we were. So we stood for about 25-30 mins. waiting for our food, while everyone else was getting served around us. Finally we got our food, and when we asked for more sauce to-go, the waitress got super stingy and wouldn't even give us an extra one without charging us. I suppose we thought it wouldn't be a big deal since we waited for so long, watched others who came in after us finish their meal in front of us, & we tipped even though we didn't dine-in. Guess it was! You could tell they are greedy. And the food was basic. I ordered a tempura roll, and it didn't even have any drizzle on it, super plain & not worth the $60 we spent for 2 people! I finished my food & was still hungry. Not sure why their ratings are so high. Wouldn't recommend this place, Bluefin Sushi...

I found a great sushi spot and they truly didn't disappoint. The staff is super friendly & fast service. I came at lunchtime with my brother and we tried a few things. There is only one server, she's super friendly and very accommodating. The ambiance is cozy and chill. I ordered a lunch Beef Bento with Tempura 🍤, it comes with soup, salad, and white rice. I love that it's very tasty, the meat is tender, the Tempura is crunchy, and the salad is fresh as well as the miso soup is very good. My brother ordered a Sashimi lunch special that comes with miso soup and white rice. We both shared the Jalapeños Bomb appetizer which tasted yummy. It has cream cheese and tuna fish inside. I think it tasted really like having deep-fried sushi. Yep, it's BOMB! Brother said, by far the best sushi he had and it's fresh. We think the price is very fair👌 & worth every bite. I recommend this place if you're craving sushi. We will definitely come...

This was our first visit, our waitress was very good! Orders and drinks came very quickly.

The Food was delicious, starting with the sushi. It was masterfully prepared, it was the freshest sushi I have had in Fresno/ Clovis so far! We had the Scooby-Doo roll and a Dragon Roll. You absolutely have to try them.

I had the beef teriyaki and tempura bento box, it came with Rice which had the perfect stickiness to pair with the beef and get that perfect beef / rice bite.

The tempura was perfectly prepared as well, the batter was light and airy, with no excess grease and it retained rigidly to make for a crunchy bite every time you ate it.

The miso soup was the best I have had in a long time. It gives you a warm good feeling that miso soup should.

I skipped the Korean spicy wings. But my wife and son said that they were addictingly good but spicy.

I highly recommend this establishment. Gets a 5...
