The morning staff is good, so I am giving three stars for them.
Recently, I ordered food through the app. This is what I normally do, and they have signs on the door encouraging ordering that way. When I arrived, I was informed that they were closed. The app had remained left on, and they did not even have a sign on the door. They had a sign saying they were short staffed, so they would close early. They did not say anything about them being closed until 11:00AM. I told them this, and they made excuses saying it just happened the night prior. Am I supposed to believe Taco Bell has no pen or paper? They were able to write the other sign just fine.
He told me an employee had tested positive for covid, so they decided to close for the morning only. I was told they would not refund me or make my food. They had already marked the order as "being made", so I could not cancel the order in the app. It was not being made.
As I had already paid, and they refused to fix their mistake by making food or refunding me, I waited 45 minutes for my food to be made. I would have preferred to be refunded, so I could have gone somewhere else for breakfast. It would have given me peace of mind about the covid case in the building as well which I told him, and he still refused and dismissed my concerns.
Thankfully, I have an understanding boss because I was not going to be robbed of my money by paying for something I would not receive.
This experience has tainted the whole place for me, and I have no intention of going back anytime soon. I don't trust them anymore which is something I didn't realize I could lose in a fast food chain, but...
Read moreSaturday 10th 9pm I wish I had taken a photo of it, but it was not a big deal. I used to work fast food places, so I know all the struggles a place can have when they are constantly busy. My hubby and I honestly were not mad but laughed at one of the hard shell tacos had little to no meat in it.
The rest of the food was great. We ordered a nacho bell grande, 2 steak chulupas, and 10 hard shell 🌮 tacos. Each taco can't be perfect. We love how convenient the location is from our home and the prices are reasonable.
The drive-thru cashier was busy but extremely nice. It's good to see that there are still good workers who treat customers as guests instead of strangers. UPDATE: 2/26/24 It's probably the last time we will eat at Taco Bell, since the prices are now way too high. Our bill was just about over $50 for the same meal we normally get just for two people. We even upgraded to surpremes and didn't even get what we paid for. No sour cream ect.
I could have gotten a restaurant sit-down meal at Toledos and had way better tacos 🌮 for that...
Read moreWe LOVE this place! I live on the street behind it, so we tend to swing by a lot. My roommate usually orders on the app and picks up in the drive thru. He tends to joke around so over time he's forged a little bond with some of the workers. They always do a great job with our food and if something goes wrong they go out of their way to fix it. Whenever I go in with my roommate, the workers light up with smiles and greetings as soon as they see him. A lot know him by name and i think one can tell that it's us just by what we order when we order at the drive thru. BE KIND TO THE WORKERS AND IT WILL REWARD YOU WITH GOOD FEELINGS AND GOOD FOOD! You know you'd get in a "when will this shift end" rut if you made the same food for thankless people all day- or worse, rude people who can't see beyond their experience! Make their day a little bit better by showing some unexpected goofiness or gratitude! Be patient with mistakes. IT WILL...
