So for my first time eating here, I wanted to see what the hype was about. I was not impressed but have mixed feelings as you will find out.. First of all, they don't have prices on their menus. RED FLAG...🛑 No prices on anything. I went there assuming prices were reasonable but boy was I wrong! The price that really got me was the bottled cokes. Ridiculous price, like the fair price without the fair. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I did get my money back for those. 👍 So we went home to try the food. First off the Asada fries were sloppy ugly. I had them add beans and they did not care about presentation at all so they threw the dry looking beans on top. (I will say the beans were tasty tho) I just figured they would put the beans on the bottom. 🤔 Secondly, the pizza fries were ok, nothing to brag about and the flavor of the asada fries was plain without salsa (salsa was fire tho) 👍 On a better note, I did love their Tripas taco 🔥 and I love the fact that they give you a crispy bean tostada along with the taco. 😋 I would definitely go back for the Tripas. Lastly my thoughts are their price for asada fries are ridiculously high for a non dining in establishment and I would never pay that amount plus tax for 2 bottled cokes I advise that you ask for prices before ordering..

Burritos were very big but somewhat dry. Asada fries were not that flavorful. Lettuce didn't add anything special. Area not great but didn't feel in any danger while there. No prices are posted on items!?! One is supposed to ask for any and all prices. So of people are waiting behind, you annoy them. Were not at all from the area so we wouldn't know much. Only reason we chose this location, 10 mins away from our hotel, was bc of good reviews. When we got the total bill, we were surprised. It was the same amount we paid the previous week at a well known restaurant, with drinks and appetizers for a party of 6...but we figured, this food was going to be GREAT! After we got back to our hotel and saw the size of burritos, we realized why they cost as much as they do. Still would have been nice to see prices instead of asking for each item. Chicken tacos we ordered were soggy and they fell apart but we're good in taste. Wouldn't return again for average tasting food that is bigger than the normal sizes but not better in taste.

Guys, this is not the review I was hoping to write. I came here because I had heard great things about this place and the images of the food looked good. I thought I was going to have one of the best burritos in Fresno. Boy, was I wrong… I don’t write the following descriptions to be mean, I write it to convey how bad my supreme burrito was. 1.) Bland. Not regular bland, but hospital cafeteria bland because of dietary restrictions. Side Note: They even give you a packet of salt which is admitting they purposefully make their food bland. 2.) The most flavorful part of the burrito was the sour cream. 3.) Taco Bell burritos have more flavor than my burrito did. Let me also clarify that I am not a smoker nor have long COVID which impacts my taste. My taste buds work perfectly fine. To make things even worse, the flavorless burrito was $16. SIXTEEN DOLLARS. WHAT?!? I don’t need to explain how that is way overpriced. Needless to say, I won’t return and I beg you to not waste your money here.

The new location on Herndon/Willow is awful. I watched my coworkers and other guests get their food for 20 mins while patiently waiting for mine. I eventually went to inquire about my tacos. Surprise surprise, they forgot my order and asked me to wait "3 mins" after I requested a refund. When confronted by the cashier for my order, the "cooks" gave me a look like it was my fault they screwed up. Mkay, if you say so, ladies. Seven mins later they asked me to wait again. I then requested a refund a 2nd time, explaining I had to return to work but instead of refunding my money, my order magically appeared!! AKA someone else's order was now behind schedule. No apology from staff, either. The food was not worth my wait. They slopped flavorless salsa all over the tacos...maybe to cover up the lack-luster flavor of the meat itself? I think so. I cannot give them the benefit of the doubt for being new. This is already an established business who should know better than to place amateurs in the kitchen of a new location. Plus, they were not that busy at the time we arrived. My coworkers were not impressed, either. Stick to Don Pepe's off Herndon, or Carrillo's and Karlita's in Clovis. Perhaps we Mexicans are snobs about what good tacos should be? Doubt it. Don't be duped. Plus, they are a bit pricey at this one....
