After two disappointing visits to Taqueria Biggie Burritos, I've concluded that it is just not for me. The first visit was on a hunt for somewhere new to eat for lunch close to work(Downtown Fresno). Getting a table was confusing and lengthy. It took a minute to be greeted. The compt chips and salas were weak. Chips were stale and didn't complment the "okay" salsa very well. My co-worker ordered a plate with three chicken enchiladas, rice, and beans. He received two enchiladas. The waitress seemed surprised to learn that the menu states three enchiladas. I ordered the chilaquiles con chile verde. I pretty much got chips, shredded cheese, and chile verde. Chilaquiles is traditionally a breakfast dish served with egg. I was really looking forward to the egg, but that's on me for not confirming. We were never checked on during the meal, weren't offered a refill, and just chalked it up as a loss. They did discount the enchiladas plate. They earned a star there. The second visit was shame on me. We cruised in there for lunch, thinking maybe their tacos might be their best or at least better than the meals were ordered. That was not the case. The $1.00 taco was unbelievable, and such a waste of tortilla. The sprinkle of meat you get is sad and disappointing. I totally understand. "You get what you pay for," What could I expect for a dollar, right. I'd expect more meat than a pair darn of tacos from Jack N the Box. I ordered six tacos, different meats, and didn't get what I ordered. I'm pretty sure the chile verde and the chicharrones were the exact same. Maybe they got confused because no one at the table got what they ordered. The staff is nice, just not very helpful and the prices are fair. This is by far my longest review. The main reason for the extended version is that I don't typically leave bad reviews. I believe no review is worse than...
Read moreFood was delicious! We wanted to try their $29.99 deal that serves 25 tacos (they have 5 different meats) with 32oz beans and 32oz rice. We ordered carnitas, shredded beef, chicken, Chile verde and it was delicious. The beans and rice taste like grandma’s food. The 25 tacos come in a big tray and you can ask to have them prepared with everything on them or on the side, we asked on the side so we can take the rest home. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. Cristian was our server and he had patience with us when we were ordering and asking all these questions to decide on the meats. The restroom was very clean. GREAT food, good service from Cristian (horrible service from the female with long hair, we tried to go on Friday evening and she looked mad, didn’t care for the customers, wouldn’t even say hi or how can I help you, she would only come the register and look at you then walk away to do something else without saying anything and come back again with an attitude, she told us the wait will be 30 to 35 minutes. The food there is great but her attitude made us walk out. Make sure you go when cristian is there and not the female), clean restaurant and...
Read moreI was very excited about Finley making it to this place. So kinda had high hopes. Once we got there it was a one way in and one way out of the parking lot sharing the entrance and exit . There was lots of litter and homeless people people sleeping next to the parking lot gate.( Which I have absolutely no problem with, just might not be so good for business.) Once we made it in. It was a very small place and look to be very welcoming . (WRONG) THERE was only 4 other customers there which were already seated and eating.and it still took about 25 minutes to get are food. after explaining I have a very bad allergy to milk (ALLERGY, not lactose) some how they still filled my food with sour cream. After returning my food to a EMPTY restaurant it took them another 15 minutes to refund my $ . Maybe it was just a bad day for them so maybe I'll give them another go and hopefully it will...
