We came without expectation, and everything was fantastic.
What looks like an Arby's architecturally outside has been furnished extremely well, well lit, with green atmospheric touches, and extremely clean. We're also excited to try the patio when the summer comes around.
The staff have been extremely friendly.
We've come a few times, trying a variety of options, and have found our current favorite is the combo meal 2, which is rice, 2 sides, and 2 proteins. We love the qovorma lagman (noodle dish kind of like a middle eastern spiced lo mein) and the potato, onion, and mushrooms for sides, then particularly enjoy the samsa as one protein and have been switching it up on the other.
The Iraqi bread is also delicious, with hummus and baba ganoush.
The drink options are also solid. I always enjoy trying new sodas to me, so there's one that's a little like a milder inca cola with berry flavor.
Overall, I've been recommending this place to anyone I've talked to in the past few weeks since happening on...
Read moreI'd been wanting to try this place since I first saw the name and exterior completed. Finally stopped in today and glad I did. I love to eat most of the dishes on their menu, but forced to pick only one, I chose a combo plate with a samsa, yellow rice, and veggies. My son chose the falafel wrap. I also had a small side of the salad and some baba ganoush. The samsa was DELICIOUS. Flaky pastry exterior with perfectly spiced and tender beef inside. The veggies were a surprising mixture of carrots, baby corn, green beans, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and yellow peppers. I only got a peek of my son's falafel wrap, but it looked and smelled delicious. He would not share.
Inside, the restaurant is beautifully finished. There really isn't any corner of the dining area that was overlooked. It's all clean, fresh, new, and very unified in its style.
I'll happily return, and this time I'll get my own...
Read moreDriving by .. the restaurant looks new and worth checking out. Googled it and read the reviews. Pulled into an empty parking lot, which should have been my indicator... First, printer paper menu, unfamiliar food items which is okay. Decided to do the combo meal .. tells me I can choose one protein and one side (comes with white or yellow rice). I chose the half Cornish hen, potatoes w/onions and mushrooms, and salad. My husband ordered a chili beef, yellow rice, pita, hummus and babaganosh (sp?) Food arrives .. greasy, cold potatoes, four little dry pieces of hen, not well seasoned hummus and baba with hard as crackers pita bread. Soggy and not seasoned salad, which was cut cukes, tomatoes, chick peas which had a refrigerator taste. Okay .. bottom line DON'T waste your time and money. They must have written their...
