Rong Cheng Restaurant — Restaurant in Spring Lake Park

This place has gone through a lot of changes over the years and the one thing I appreciate is their honesty. Usually a busy night would take 30 minutes for food to arrive but one winter night they stated it would take 1hr and since I was not in a hurry I said it is ok. 1hr and 30 minutes later no food. I called and they stated something unexpected happen but the food is on its way in 15 minutes. And it got here as mentioned. All in good order nothing missed. When I looked up outside I realized the snow was coming down heavy. How they got here at all was a mystery and instead of complaining about their tardiness quickly became a note of understanding their predicament. I even tipped larger than usual as it must have been a tough night for them and the drive time extended beyond their control. They must have gotten an earfull from other customers and to hear at least one customer was just grateful they got here must have been a relief to them. Anyway their honesty convinced me to keep their business and my understanding of the nights situation seemed to have put me on their select list. So I had the idea that I would try out a new Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood for lunch. I ordered my food to be carry out. When I called to place my order, there were no complications. The person on the other line was very nice and very receptive to what I was ordering. Before I left, I noticed that I had misplaced my wallet. I was tearing up my house trying to find it. By the time I had found it, my order was almost ready so I had to hurry up and get there. When I went outside I noticed it was raining. Hard. The drive there wasn't very pleasant. I could barley see the road and was hydroplaning all over the place. Because this was my first time going there, I had some trouble finding it. Edit: restaurant called today and were so polite. Went above and beyond to investigate what had happened, resolved and issued complete refund even for items received. Appears that issue was on door dash’s end. Will definitely order from again and thankful for their response.

Work overnights so placed order for food for children. Door dasher had to wait 25 minutes so order came after store closing. Then, although I indicated to leave on step business required a signature. My children are instructed to not open door for safety.
