This morning at about 10:30 AM my wife called and asked if we could make a reservation this restaurant. The young lady answered the phone and said “hello, how can I help you”. I thought that was weird, I wasn’t sure at first she was calling a restaurant. I guess I was expecting “thanks for calling the name of the restaurant, can I get a name?,” or something identifying who we were talking to at the very least. My wife asked if we could make reservations and the young lady who answered the phone stated, “no ma’am we do not do reservations”. My wife then asked what the wait time for a table would be and she was told there’d be about a 30 minute wait. We figured we’d just catch up and wait outside so we drove to this location and asked for a table at the front podium. Three young ladies were there and one of them (as if she was not working but talking to on of her peers) asked me for my name and number. I asked what the wait time would be and she said “40-45 minutes”. This was at 11:50 AM.
At about 12:27 PM, my wife and I noticed at group of 6 who had just arrived 4 minutes prior get seated. This rose an issue and I went to ask for an explanation at the front podium. On my way, I noticed a family of 5, who had arrived after us, walking out having had already eaten. I asked where we were in line and was told “there are two more groups ahead of you. At this point there were only two groups outside waiting including us so I was confused. I asked how so many groups could come after us and be seated before us? I was told by one of the young ladies at the podium that “they used the Yelp app to add themselves to the waitlist”. I asked “I thought you all don’t do reservations?” And I was told they don’t. The Yelp app is a “waitlist, not a reservation”. I didn’t understand this until I asked for a manager who explained. It’s basically like ordering your chick-fil-a through the app and pulling up and getting your food while others wait to order in the drove-thru. I get it. However, this could have been explained by one of the kids at the podium this morning, instead of us sitting for 40 minutes watching other groups go in and out. The experience here today was awful but the food was good. The manager was good about explaining things instead of defending the...
Read moreI came here on May 11, 2022 for brunch with my wife. I know the review is late, but better late than never right!. I narrowed it down to three locations for brunch as we were visiting from out of town and I must say, this place did not disappoint. One of a few restaurants where I have that extremely satisfied feeling from eating a meal.
We splurged a little on the meal, and I must say we were not disappointed. Both my wife and I very pleased with this location.
I ordered the Southern Benny, with chicken instead of sausage, and got the sausage on the side. I was one of the best Benedicts I have had. Chicken was very tender and not dry at all, and the skin around the chicken was very crunchy! The biscuit was soft, and fluffy in the middle and the top and bottom were crunchy and the homemade sausage gravy was perfect. Absolutely delicious.
My wife ordered the Migas and the Pancake sampler. She liked the Migas. I also tried it and must say all the items on the dish were delicious. The only thing is that the hash browns were bland, just regular potatoes served hash style, but we're cooked perfectly. Crispy and tender at the same time! All of the items in the dish worked perfectly and the fact that it comes with tortillas makes it a very filling dish.
The Pancakes that she got were Sweet Butter Cream, Red Velvet, and White Chocolate Raspberries. She got each of the sauces on the side which I would recommend. The white chocolate and raspberry sauce were both delicious. She didn't finish all the raspberry so I ate the rest with a spoon. It was tart and not overly sweet. Definitely recommend that one. The cream cheese glaze for the red velvet was also very good.
I just had regular coffee and the wifey had a cappuccino for our beverage. Coffee was good. Wifey enjoyed the cappuccino.
They offer ketchup nad hot sauce on request.
Our servers name was Eetseeya (I am only spelling that based on how she pronounced it, not how it is spelled. She didn't have a tag on her). She was wonderful and made sure we enjoyed our food.
I have already recommended it to my friends that live close by. Definitely will be back if...
Read moreIdk how this place has 4.5 stars at all. Or even close to it . Got a veggie omelette came out with a hair on it. My girl got the Mediterranean her hash browns are cold wanna know the best part I went to men’s bathroom there was no soap in both dispensers. Asked for a manager he said he’s kinda like one and asked if we wanted more hashbrows didn’t offer a discount or comp for at least 3 big major unsanitary problems for our first time here. 15$ each omelette for a place that can’t even stay clean? The booth below me Is dirty , a gnat flew by our table. No soap in bathroom is a major red flag then a hair on my food . We will never return again first and last time here. Don’t believe all these food reviews this place isn’t all that I promise with a warm and kind heart I say it in the nicest way. The place seems to give off a luxury look but it’s not. It’s dirty and unsanitary . Couldn’t even put soap on my hands lol. They took one omelette off so uh still having to pay 16$ they should’ve just gave it to us free. And he didn’t even offer til I said something . Place is overpriced and dirty . This is not a 4 star restaurant guaranteed , health inspector should be notified. I work in the food industry. They didn’t even put the soap in the dispenser via pictures listed. Place is disgusting lost my appetite bathrooms fill dirty. Think how they’re...
