Tailgaters Sports Bar — Restaurant in Frisco

I haven’t not been to tailgators in over a year but yesterday I decided to stop by due to have a long stressful week . When I arrived my bartender was not veery welcoming however I understood she is human and can be going through things herself . I ordered a drink sge offered me a menu . I was FaceTiming my son and a few minutes later two police walked in . I thought they was going to get some food so I gave them a chair. Well little did I know they was coming for me . They told me the waitress called on me and did t want me back over an incident that happed two weeks ago but I haven’t been in over a year . I was crying shacking begging them to run the cameras back they refused . The waiter told the officer when u tried to pay my bill tget didn’t need my money they just want me gone . I hate to be this kind of person but I was the only black person there . If a situation happened two weeks ago I promise it want me .All black people don’t look the same . I feel disgusted , embarrassed, targeted , harassed and my feelings are hurt . I had to sign a paper saying I would never come back . I talk to the police outside they told me to find a way home the girl also said she felt uncomfortable serving me I was quiet when I was there outside of talking to my son . What made her uncomfortable the only difference with us was our skin tone . I just hate the world is...

On Labor Day, we stopped by Tailgaters with our kids to grab a bite to eat. We've been a few times before when we lived in the area and were craving some wings. It wasn’t very busy, but the service took longer than expected, though we weren’t in a rush. My husband ordered a drink, and the waitress brought two, even though we only asked for one. We decided to keep the extra drink, no big deal.

When we got the bill, we were surprised to see a 20% gratuity already added. This confused us, as it was just the two of us and our two small children, but we went ahead and paid. What really upset us was that days later, when checking our credit card, we noticed an extra $25 charge on top of the gratuity. We hadn’t added that to the receipt.

We called Tailgaters to explain, and they confirmed that a gratuity shouldn’t have been added since our party was less than six. However, we’re still waiting for an explanation or resolution. We've called the restaurant repeatedly over three days, but management hasn’t responded, and on several occasions, they’ve even hung up on us.

This situation could have been easily resolved with a phone call explaining what happened and assuring us it won’t happen to other families. Instead, we’ve had to dispute the charge with our bank and are left feeling frustrated...

Great daily specials! For slightly more than a combo meal at at fast food place you can enjoy everything from pizza, chicken fried steak, Philly cheese steak or a great selection of 6 wings. Homemade chips were perfectly cooked.

I sampled 3 menu items. All 3 were cooked as requested and we're very tasty. The wings were my favorite. I had the bone in and they were good size and very meaty.

Plating and presentation were aligned with the sports bar theme and complimented the food.

It is worth noting that the bread used for the food is fresh and delightful. There is just something about it that added to the experience. It is far better than what I expected from bar food.

The bar is well stocked and bartenders willing to create specialty drinks.

Staff was attentive and well versed in the menu items. Service was timely. Food was served hot.

Entertainment options were numerous with plenty of TVs. Staff was willing to adjust programs.

Music was a great selection of classic rock. In the afternoon the music is loud enough that you can her it but still carry on conversation.
