Review for Popeyes on 423 I stopped by this Popeyes around 4 PM on Saturday, October 3rd, and had one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at this location. I ordered a 10-piece meal intending to use my $21.99 coupon that includes two sides. I noticed what I thought was the same offer on their screen, but later realized the one on the screen actually only came with one side. I ordered mashed potatoes and red beans but quickly changed my mind and asked for mashed potatoes and macaroni instead. When I got my order, I only received one side. When I mentioned it to the young man at the window (around 20 years old), he told me the meal only comes with one side. I apologized and explained that I thought it was the same deal as my coupon. I asked if I could still use my coupon so I could get both sides, but he refused, saying I had already paid. I asked him to get his manager — instead of coming to the window, the manager just waved his hands dismissively from a distance, signaling “no.” The young man returned and repeated that he couldn’t do anything because I had already paid. Then, another man came to the window asking for my receipt. I told him I never received it, but they insisted I had. They made me wait several minutes while watching me search for a receipt I repeatedly told them I didn’t have. In the end, they admitted I didn’t have a receipt and processed my refund, again without an apology. What makes this worse is that they clearly could have resolved this easily. They could have simply given me the missing mashed potatoes, reversed my payment in the same way they processed my refund, and taken my coupon — which would have satisfied me and still been a profit for the company. Instead, they refused, and they lost revenue. The lack of customer care and professionalism was very disappointing. What made it worse is that I’m a regular at this location — there’s usually a young man with braces who is always friendly, professional, and provides excellent service every time I visit. Unfortunately, the team working that afternoon did not reflect that same standard. It’s sad to say, but after this experience, I won’t be returning to...
Read moreAlright, buckle up, because my recent experience at the Popeyes off of 423 in Frisco wasn't just a quick bite – it was a masterclass in customer service served alongside some seriously delicious chicken! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with a positive energy that's often missing in fast food establishments. What truly set this Popeyes apart, though, was their incredible staff.
I had a rather substantial order to place – enough to feed a small army, or at least a very hungry family gathering. Instead of the exasperated sighs or rushed attitude I might have expected, I was met with genuine smiles and an eagerness to help. The team member who assisted me was an absolute star. They patiently guided me through the menu, offering helpful suggestions and ensuring every single item was accounted for with precision and care. They didn't just take my order; they helped me craft it, making sure I got exactly what I needed.
Even with the size of my request, the entire process was smooth and efficient. There was no sense of being a burden, only a genuine desire to provide excellent service. And let's not forget the star of the show – the food! The chicken was, as always, perfectly seasoned and crispy, the biscuits were warm and flaky, and every side dish was fresh and flavorful.
This Popeyes location in Frisco isn't just about serving great food; it's about creating a positive experience, and their friendly and accommodating staff are a testament to that. If you're in the area and craving that signature Popeyes flavor, do yourself a favor and stop by. You'll be greeted with a smile and leave with a satisfying meal and a renewed appreciation for fantastic customer service. This is definitely a Popeyes I'll be returning to – and recommending to...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service. Ordered online for pickup, and when I arrived the order was not nearly done by the estimated time (one combo meal). That’s not a big deal, waiting isn’t an issue, but the order was completely wrong as well. Gave me the wrong sandwich (the only one I specifically did not want as I do not eat pork/bacon), and forgot one of my sides, along with the wrong drink. After going back in and letting them know my order was wrong, and showing them my receipt, I waited again as the employees stood around laughing and chatting. I did get the mashed potato’s, but I watched as one of the employees took the back and the wrong sandwich, ducked behind the wall, and put it back in the bag before handing it back to me. I was already running late at this point so I simply took it and left, but I am incredibly disappointed with the service. As someone who has worked retail, I understand sometimes the store is slow and it’s totally okay to laugh and chat. However, this was a totally different story as there were a few customers waiting for their orders (3 people including me), and half of the staff was at the front giggling. Would absolutely recommend the chain, but would advise to steer clear of this...
