If you love authentic Mexican food and especially tacos, you can't miss the new restaurant "Las calles de mexico" The suadero is the real star here. Its deep flavor and soft texture make it a true gastronomic gem. The best thing of all is that this type of taco is not found in many places. The tacos are served on freshly handmade tortillas if you prefer, accompanied by onion, fresh cilantro and a touch of hot sauce, which by the way I missed but I will return to taste the sauces on my next visit. The mango margarita is my recommendation for any occasion. The flavor is incredibly smooth, but at the same time vibrant, with the mango taking center stage in every sip, while the salt or tajin on the edge of the glass give it the final touch that elevates the drink to another level. This margarita is not just a drink, but a true celebration of tropical flavors that transports you directly to the heart of Mexico. If you visit this restaurant, do not hesitate to order it, it will leave you wanting more.

Upon arriving, I was welcomed by Miguel. He seated me, then took my drink order. Issac came out shortly after to let me know the drink would be right out and so I took the opportunity to ask him some questions about the menu. He was explanatory and knowledgeable about the differences in the meats and tortillas on both plates I was inquiring about. I decided on suadero, and it was incredibly delicious! I had both the frozen peach margarita, and the strawberry margarita-both were very tasty! The chips are very "corn flavored" like El Fenix (Think Fritos). They are thick and " dip worthy". The salsa had a kick, but wasn't too hot. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my capadres, even though we all live in Allen. Definitely the real deal Mexican food type tacos, which is hard to find other than on a food truck!

I recently visited the new location of Calle De Mexico to pick up some menudo to go, and I’m thrilled to have this spot so close to home. This is their second location in the area, and they’ve clearly brought the same authentic flavors they’re known for. The menudo was fantastic! The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The tripe was tender. They included all the essentials for a great menudo experience—fresh lime, diced onions, and cilantro. Everything was well-packaged, and the portions were generous. Even though I didn’t dine in, the staff was friendly and efficient, making the pickup process seamless. I’m so glad to have a go-to spot nearby for authentic Mexican food. I can’t wait to try more from their menu!

This place is actually real Mexican food, and I hope it stays in this location for a long time. The restaurant attempts at this location prior to the current one were just copies of Chuy’s/Mi Cocina/name your Tex Mex chain. I hope some Tik toker makes this place popular, because it’s actually unique to this area and not the industry standard menu you typically find.

Edit 10/10/2025

I’m still extremely satisfied every week or so when I drop in here for the occasional take out or dine in food. My girlfriend and I LOVE this place, and while she is the most pumpkin spiced latte basic lululemon wearing Stanley water cup toting HWHITE girl I know, she loves their three colored hot sauces that are real deal intestinal shaking sweat inducing HOT sauces.

What this place DESPERATELY needs is for more Suburban moms. Their homemade tortillas are Corn and GLUTEN FREE BABES! They do have a shockingly good kids menu, and this place is so much cheaper than going to Mi Cocina or Chueys, or (god forbid) La Hacienda Ranch. 🙄

It needs a tik toker, a FB mom group approval, a Frisco Momfluencer, or a digital marketing campaign to avoid meeting the untimely demise just like its predecessors. We all gotta band together and find the local moms and...

This is the best Mexican and Tex Mex place in the Little Elm/Frisco area. The whole restaurant is IMMACULATELY CLEAN. the people working are friendly and take obvious pride in everything about the customer experience. My companion and I each had their taco plate. I had bistec, they had tripa. The tripa tasted clean and flavorful. The bistec was well seasoned and the perfect consistency. The corn tortillas were fresh tasting. The hot sauces were excellent flavor. The salsa was zesty and fresh. The chips were served hot and tasted fresh. Both the charro beans and the refried beans were perfectly packed with flavor and each a great consistency. The rice was good. And the Price vs portions! I can't believe we both ate to being full and took away some leftovers, all for $25! You can't even feed 2 adults at BURGER KING for $25 these days. As you can tell, we are very impressed! And my companion is a really good "home cook" who has been cooking these foods for many years, so we are both very picky about authentic Mexican and Tex mex. So this place is definitely worth...
