Ked's Ice cream, Waffles & Crepes — Restaurant in Frisco

I was disappointed on my visit yesterday evening. This review is based on my husband and I’s first visit to this location. We normally go to the Plano location but since we moved out to the Frisco area, this location is way closer.

The interior (understanding it’s a new building suite/room) smelled like glue, wood, and was very humid inside. Not pleasant while eating ice cream. There was caulking hanging from the front counter where patrons stand to order. It was about 5-6 inches of caulk. Interior definitely needs a lot of work.

Scoops were very small for the price paid ($4.99 for two small scoops=Small cup size) and the “extra scoop” special was extremely small—like a large tablespoon. The flavors were rich and that’s the reason for the two stars. The ice cream flavors paan, taro, and almond saffron had crunchy ice particles on it and that was also unpleasant to eat.

Not sure if we will come back. We just might to see if quality and value for...

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely filthy inside with not one person cleaning up the lobby area. The glass windows & door were so filmy with dirt that you can not see through them as well as the outside walkway needed a good power-wash! The walls had ice cream spilt on them that was clearly not from anytime recent. The tables and floor were covered in trash & melted ice cream which made for an unpleasant experience. We will definitely not be returning. Also a huge issue was that patrons refusing to clean up after themselves with common courtesy by throwing away their own trash. This is a very nice neighborhood and a newer strip mall area and is already looking extremely run down. It's an absolute shame! Take pride in your location and hire some...

I had a very disappointing experience here. I ended up with a stomach upset after eating, which makes me question the quality and hygiene of the ingredients they use—definitely feels like cheap or poorly handled food. The customer service was also below average. It seemed like a group of untrained teenagers were managing the place, with zero professionalism or courtesy. No one seemed to know what they were doing, and basic customer interaction was completely lacking. The place didn’t feel clean either, which only adds to the concern. I definitely won’t be...
