Barista stating that now on Wednesdays and Sundays they apparently dump the granita mix at 5:00 PM. Now, I understand needing to be able to close the store in time, but there is absolutely no reason why a certain drink would not be available an entire HOUR before close. Even thirty minutes is reasonable. Why would you start shutting the store down an hour before close. This location is already closing earlier than other locations due to a staffing shortage etc etc, the least they could do is actually have the drink I ordered- available during the hours they ARE open. I don’t know what the problem is or why this location is suddenly implementing new rules that are not real nor are they protocol. I know two managers personally of PJ’s coffee locations and never once have I heard of them “dumping the granita machine” at a certain time. I have been at PJ’s first in line when they open, and have stayed there studying till close. Trust me, you can’t just tell me anything and expect me to believe it. But, just to be thorough I have no issue calling the 10 locations I know of to verify. It seems this location is choosing to do things their way and not the company’s way and I want to know why. I do the very best I can to TELL people about the Frisco PJ’s location because I think it is worth patronizing. But I’m not going to keep advocating for this location if they can’t get it together. As a matter of fact I’m convinced they’re only giving ME problems with MY order because I leave reviews whenever I am dissatisfied. I’m not just going to pretend like everything is ok because I’m a regular customer and “people make mistakes” or the baristas are really nice. The barista actually had the unmitigated gall to look puzzled as to why I DIDN’T want the drink options she offered as an alternative. Accepting a drink I don’t want one time (just so I could have some coffee) is ok. But this is now the third time this has come up. And the other two times it was plenty early in the day and the machine was on, just wasn’t freezing properly. If I continued to accept drinks that were not what I ordered, that tells the managers and the employees that if I come through the drive through line , they can get over on me because they figure I’ll accept just anything. I don’t want alternative options, what I want is the drink I ordered. And that’s not a big ask, it’s not unreasonable, mean or rude. I just want what I actually ordered and its not hard. They just have to have employees that are willing to do the work. I’m thinking maybe that is the issue here. Maybe the employees don’t feel that they owe exemplary service and quality beverages to their customers. Maybe that’s why this location has been lackluster the past few weeks. Maybe this location is not keeping track of their reviews. Maybe they don’t think reviews are important. But nevertheless, I will continue to leave them until the problem is resolved. Young employees tend to want to rush through evening closing duties. I guarantee you the barista dumped the mix earlier than she was supposed to. I could tell that just by pulling up to the speaker and the dead silence and panic when I said I had a mobile order. This barista wasn’t planning on having anymore customers for the rest of the remaining 50 minutes they were...
Read moreThe food is great, however the service was subpar. I walked in and ordered a King Cake Espresso for someone else and the girl at the checkout asked me if I wanted anything in it. I said no, because we’ve previously ordered the same drink and didn’t get that question. When the drink was fully prepared I asked if it was in fact the KCE bc I thought it had milk or something else in it. The second young lady was polite and said she’d fix it, however the cashier got an attitude and said well I asked her if she wanted anything in it. Then the cashier failed to note my food order was to go, which caused them to have to repackage the food to go. It’s not a big deal overall but what was frustrating is that the reason the cashier was so inept was because her boyfriend/guy friend was there talking to her the entire time she’s supposed to be taking orders. Had she been paying attention to her job, perhaps the order wouldn’t have...

Since April, my friend and I come here every Monday afternoon at 430p and order a very basic Café Americano...yesterday 9/29/2025 you would have thought we were speaking a different language....child with curly hair and glasses straight up said we don't make that here, then said she didn't know how to ring it up.. typically we get a cold foam on top but she said they don't have any...duh sweetheart you're supposed to make it.
This is all in addition to NOTHING tasting like ANYTHING from New Orleans...very bland...no soul
When you're employees are untrained/incompetent, when they drive customers away with they poor attitudes and don't value the hard work you put in to opening the business, the business will fail.
It's a coffee shop...go to another and watch this was close it's doors...I give it 2...
