Wendy's — Restaurant in Front Royal

The past 3 or 4 times I have come to this windix for breakfast I have had to wait a crazy amount of time period today I waited almost 8 minutes to even get close to the speaker and there were only 2 cars in front of me. Then when you get to the speaker they make you wait another 3 or 4 minutes. What makes it really bad is that when you finally get to the window they have an attitude and do not even apologize. On top of that the order is never correct. I love Wendy's, but will never go back to this one and will warn others. Edit- still takes 15 minutes to get food,even when there is no line. Thought I would try them again, but quickly regretted it. Edit November 13th 2024. I decided to give this place a try again. It appears that the same rude woman is working the drive-thru. Not only does she make you wait while she takes care of the customer in front of you, but she tells you to wait in one of the rudest manners possible. Stopped in after a play date at the park across the street with four kids in tow. Homecoming night and during the dinner rush, so there was a line in the drive thru, but we were inside so we thought it might be faster.

It took more than five minutes for the cashier to finish packing up the drive thru orders before he could come take our first order. After my friend finished, I had to wait another almost ten minutes for him to finish more drive thru orders and place items on my friend's tray. My order took at least another ten minutes to be put on my trays.

There were no napkins, spoons or forks in the lobby. All of the tables and counters were dirty with soda and food droppings. The floors were lightly littered with debris. Bathrooms were somewhat dirty.

It seemed obvious that they were short staffed and busy. Those two things combined make it hard to keep up. This restaurant is usually cleaner, better stocked and with faster service (even if not perfect).

Awful service! My boyfriend and I went in for lunch after yard work all day. We waited for 15 minutes and ordered 2 biggie bags ($5 each), 2 small frosties ($1 and some change each) and strawberry lemonades for our drinks (50¢ Each when added on to our meal). The young tall guy at the register with thick glasses was cussing because he couldn’t find the button to add the lemonades as our drink and tried charging us $3 a lemonade. We said something about this and he cussed again trying to figure it out. This was already unacceptable for us. After paying, we got the wrong sauces we asked for and frostie all over the outside of our frostie cups. You couldn’t even pick up the cup without your hand being covered!! My boyfriend, who has worked in the fast food business before, said “you’re supposed to wipe the cup off before serving it to customers” and the jerk behind the counter said “whatever dude I don’t care”.
