Adam's Taphouse Grille — Restaurant in Fruitland

We stopped here while passing through due to the signs that said “craft beer” etc. as we just wanted a snack and a good beer. First off, the first thing we noticed as we got the menus was that they didn’t in fact have ANY craft beer. It was all chain beer. There are signs everywhere advertising craft beers and to drink “local beers”, but that’s not even an option at this place. Since I wasn’t getting the craft beer, I decided to look for another “go-to” which is Yuengling. Guess what? No Yuengling either. They have Yuengling glasses, Yuengling signs, Yuengling lights, but don’t even serve Yuengling. Shocker. We ordered chicken fajita nachos. They weren’t terrible, but lacked flavor and toppings. Lots of chips with about 5 chunks of chicken. They have no issue with charging you like they taste good though. We paid about $70 for 3 beers, an order of nachos and one bowl of soup. Why chili? Well because they didn’t have any of the soup they advertised either. Our server also dropped off food and we never saw him again. I was getting ready to go look for someone to get a box, when he finally showed up. I figured with the rest of the issues, he just ducked out mid-shift. Was really looking forward to trying this place for the first time, and could not have been more disappointed. Fairly slow for a Friday night, which should have been an indicator. Was seated right away, but didn't see a server for 10 minutes. Got an apology for the "miscommunication" and then was served an appetizer with no plates, napkins, or silverware. Ordered a Caesar salad, which came with barely any dressing on it, and a cheeseburger (medium) with sweet potato fries. Was not asked how I wanted my burger cooked, which should have been a flag as well. My "medium" burger came super rare, and the fries were mushy and super oily. I barely touched them, and when I pointed this out to our server, he said "really sorry about that" and handed us our check. No offers to make it right, adjust bill, nothing. $60 for a salad and a poorly cooked burger and fries. I paid and left. Recommend finding better food and service...

One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. The food was mediocre. My salad which I asked for before my dinner came to the table warm and before I could even finish mixing the very small amount of dressing with it , the entrees came to the table. The mashed potatoes had absolutely no flavor and were super thick and stiff. The cocktails sucked. No one was happy with their food. I ordered a lemon drop Martini and it was horrible, I get it not everyone can make one so I kindly asked for a margarita instead and once again absolutely horrible. I couldn’t even drink it so I just let it sit on the table full and I paid for it so I didn’t hurt the bartenders’ feelings. The crab dip was mostly grease and cheese the crab was barely there. The service wasn’t great either. All in all was not satisfied with this place being my first time there and would not be recommending. Update: Shortly after and I’m sick...
