Bandeño Mexican Food — Restaurant in Fullerton

My mom and I were in the shopping center when she was given a flyer to this place. We decided, let’s try it we love Mexican food! We are so glad we did! We got the burrito special that came with a chile verde burrito, a drink, and a side of beans and rice. Everyone there was so kind and we are always looking to support a new business! We highly recommend this place! The rice was SO flavorful as well as the beans! Sometimes at places the rice comes out bland but this rice had SO much flavor. The chile verde burrito was delicious. It was the perfect amount of spice. My mom’s own chile verde has a bit of a lemony flavor and this one reminded me of hers. Soooo good! We recommend this if you’re unsure what to get. They have such a great selection from burritos to plates to tacos, tortas, salads, and even menudo and pozole on the weekends as well. My mom is already talking about getting the burrito again and we are excited to try the menudo and pozole soon too. We will definitely be regular customers here! They also said they will be putting in a michelada bar soon so this place will definitely be on our weekly if not daily...

After returning from Puerto Vallarta last week been looking for some good tacos locally and found Bandeno on Google. Glad I did cuz the tacos I got were great.

The Camerones in PV were the best. I had shrimp in tacos, omellettes, stand alone meals. Their shrimp was so fresh and tasty. So, finding a good shrimp taco is a must here at home. Bandeno’s passed the test. I will definitely return for these. Shrimp was grilled and plump. Sauce was good and the salsa bar had variety and added to the flavors.

Also had a freshly cooked Asada taco (all meat) and it was tasty and filling. One shrimp dropped in the meat so it became a surf n turf bite and that was even better. Maybe add to the menu?

My only gripe in the immaculately clean restaurant was the AC was not on. Granted, that felt like being back in PV cuz barely anyone had AC and it was much hotter there. But still. In Summer heat I would not eat inside which is a shame cuz I’m specifically looking for good, clean places...

HIDDEN GEM ALERT!!! Took the wife here today for the 1st time, and we were not disappointed at all! We ordered the chicken enchilada and poblano chile relleno w/ rice and beans plate, and an asada steak quesadilla. The chicken enchilada was moist and very tender and came with a great tasting red sauce, and the chile relleno was excellent and complimented the enchilada very well. The side of rice and beans were also outstanding! The steak quesadilla was huge and perfectly cooked with very juicy and tender asada meat and came with tomatoes and onions inside w/ very tasty guac and sour cream on the side. We sat outside on the patio which was very pleasant. The inside was very clean, and they had several televisions on with sports. Omar helped us out and was very gracious and took very good care of us and made us feel very welcomed! My wife and I are foodies, and we were totally impressed with everything here! We give it an A+ and are looking forward to going back. Great job,...
