This is a great weeknight spot for some family Italian food. The venue is quite large with a lot of tables throughout. The staff was all very kind and sat us immediately, our server was super attentive throughout the whole night. The place was kind of empty, although we went on a Wednesday around 6pm, only 4 tables were being used. Very good family environment, but I probably wouldn’t bring a date here, the environment is kind of busy and the seating has little privacy for conversation.
I’m terms of food, everything was super tasty although nothing was amazing.
The free bread was the star of the night for me, super warm, fluffy, and salty. The olive oil it was served with was very well seasoned.
The Chicken Marsala was probably the only major miss for the night, it had an odd flavor that we didn’t love. It was better when we requested some lemon to have on top of it.
The Cheese Ravioli and the Baked Ziti were good and well seasoned, with plenty of fresh tomato sauce. Although I felt the portions, especially the ravioli, could have been larger for their price since they had no meat.
Both the Caesar and Greek Salads were very fresh and super generous with the dressing which we appreciated.
We tried the Limoncello Mascarpone for dessert. The lemon mascarpone part was very rich and full of citrus flavor, although the cake was a little dry and dense from being refrigerated.
Overall, the place has pretty good Italian food for the family. The staff is impeccable and has great service, although the food leaves something to be desired. They seem to be in the process of updating their menu and offerings, so I look forward to seeing...
Read moreSo very disappointing! Service was great - food was so bland - even the colors were to be desired. We WERE going to order a third to go dish, but the food was so bad we decided against it. The plates are plastic (appetizer came on glass).
My husband had the combination plate - we were thinking - these are going to be signature dishes - so they’re all going to knock it put of the park - HOWEVER, anything but. The lasagna was COLD like out of a refrigerator cold. The Alfredo and chicken parmigiana were okay at best. Overall, my husband said stouffer’s would be better. We always taste each other’s food - but neither of us offered the other a bite from the disappointment.
I had chicken piccata that was nothing like any I had. The chicken was the same color as the pasta (yuck) no dredging (as you can see). The lemon butter sauce was missing lemon and looked like they thickened it with cornstarch not good. Very bland - the capers didn’t have that taste and texture you would expect.
The calamari was bland and soggy. We definitely won’t be back. We paid $97 for two people (with tip) NOT WORTH IT. We had one alcoholic...
Read moreI wish I could write a great review because the portions were good and the food was made how we ordered it and was given to us in a timely manner. However we believe a review is also based on the experience while we dined. Tonight we were recommended joes Italian food and drove 50 minutes to have food at this place for dinner. We had a large party and split checks. Upon leaving the restaurant, a server named Zach mentioned that our waitress named Eva was upset that she wasn’t tipped by a few members of our party. She neglected to look at each server binder to see if we had all tipped on our credit cards.apparently she was so upset that she had Zach speak up for her, berating us as we left the restaurant. Never have we ever been approached by wait staff about leaving a tip. It was with her poor judgement and not reviewing the tips that lead to the accusation of us not leaving a tip. Due to this experience we will not be back to...
