My previous review from a year ago was 4 stars and said: This is a great place for a sandwich with some family, friends or coworkers. They also offer pizzas and some other options. Have been here several times and the food has always been good and staff has been friendly. I am updating this review to 2 stars and no longer recommend this location. Today we had lunch here as I believe in supporting local businesses. I believe that the prices have increased lately, which is understandable, but the food quality has went downhill. The waitress was promp to get out drink order, and then asked several times if we were ready to order....to the point of being pushy as she returned every two minutes asking...... Then it took a bit to get our food after ordering. I had a chicken gyro that even with the tzatziki sauce had no flavor. My 3yo had a kids chicken tender plate had 4 small pieces of chicken, the largest 2 pictured as my kid ate the smaller two. The chicken pieces looked like the small bits that fall off of a real piece of chicken during cooking. Also, even though the waitress brought us 4 things of ketchup, that we never asked for and simply left untouched on the table, when we asked for some bbq sauce, we were charged for the little cup. Doesn't BBQ sauce come with the chicken tenders??? So I guess your suppose to eat ketchup on everything.... Lastly is the tea, and it might have been a off batch or something, but regardless it had a funny taste to it, like it was brewed a bit strong, or old, or the brewing pot hasn't been cleaned lately...something, needless neither me or my wife got a refill. We have decided that we would not be back anytime soon, maybe it will improve in our absence. But at this time I do not recommend this location.

Came here for wings and a beer with a few buddies and was extremely disappointed. I strongly suggested this place, due to the amazing wings at the location in Apex. Come to find out, not the same owners...and it shows. We sat at the bar and the guy tending was very attentive. We didn't have to wait at all for a refill. All but one in the group ordered grilled wings, he ordered the traditional fried. The lone fried wing order, came out grilled. All the wings were completely charred, burnt on one side. We all dealt with it, as we don't like sending food back. They tasted like they were fried and then grilled. They were TERRIBLE. One ordered ranch, got blue cheese... I mentioned to the bartender after we finished how he was good, not letting us wait for refills, but the wings were the worst we had all ever had and his response was simply, "sorry they were really busy in the kitchen." I would take a hard pass on ever returning here. I'll make the long drive to Apex every time. If you are looking for wings, go to the Apex Abbey Road, they are AMAZING! We were going to turn that into our monthly meet up for our group meetings, but wouldn't return. The burnt side of each wing, was conveniently turned down, so it wouldnt be seen to anyone just glancing at it. So that was a shady kitchen staff move....and then the bartender didn't care to personally try to make it right or involve any management. That place seems to be poor from top to bottom, front of the house to the back.

So I dont even know why I keep trying to go back here to see if something has changed. Below is a picture of what they supposedly call a calzone. The only real dough was burnt and in the one edge. And it was horrible. Yes they took it off my bill but the thing is every single time I've been there the food is extremely greasy the food has either taken forever to come out or has been cold or wrong. It has made me and my family sick in multiple occasions as well. I'm not sure where the disconnect is with the food here is it lack if care with the cooks and management or what but I've been to the other locations and had a much better experience and food. And not to mention the wait staff other then a couple of them are very hands off letting others bring out their orders and barely refilling a drink or seeing if everything is ok. I hate being negative about restaurants especially ones where I've been to other locations and have had amazing food and service and are not a large corporation but privately owned such as this one. I'm all about promoting small business and local but honestly this location needs some kind of overhaul or reeducation of the staff on cooking and customer service. I do appreciate the "effort" of removing an inedible item from my ticket but if it's a continuing problem it doesnt fix it at the end because I know if I were to go back it would be the same as before.

In the past this place has been fine. Which is why I was content on eating dinner here last night with my family. 7 adults and 1 child. The staff did a fine job seating us in a room off to the side. Our waitress did the best to her ability to assure we had what we needed, the drinks took a while considering they weren’t busy, though that was minuscule compared to what happened. The food came out in a timely manner, all dishes except for one. We were informed it would be right out, so we all waited before touching our plates. It took at least ten minutes for the final dish to come out, that’s not an exaggeration. When the dish (calzone) was set on the table our waitress asked how everything tasted, not realizing we hadn’t touched our food. As my mother and brother begin working on their dish, they realized it wasn’t even cooked all the way. The calzone was still raw with batter on the inside. After about 10 minutes past. My brother went to notify our server that the food was undercooked. She came back puzzled and asked if we were sure that the food was undercooked. I’m sorry but the customer should not be questioned. The server took the plate off of the table and offered to have it remade. With us all knowing very well that it was going to take an extreme amount of time considering the previous. Nothing was brought out for my mother and brother to snack on while they waited. It was rather awkward for the rest of us to sit there with our food while they remained plateless. My brother ended up needing to leave for a meeting and was unable to eat dinner. To go boxes were brought out for the rest of us and we boxed up our lesftovers. And then finally the calzone was brought out. We asked for a box, at this point my mother did not want to sit and eat her dinner while we waited. The server ran the credit card and came back with the papers to sign. That is when we noticed the calzone was not taken off of the bill. We asked her to please be take it off, she told us that because the manager is not working it cannot be taken off. We then brought the issue to another server who said that because we were taking the item home she could not refund us. Very awkward to be told that. We arnt looking to get free food out of this place. We just wanted the right thing to have been done and to not be criticized for it. Our bill was close to $200. It’s not about the money it’s about the customer service. My issue is not with our server. It is with the young lady who was acting as manager while the manager was not available. Kindness goes a long way, especially in...

This was the most disappointing lunch that I've had in quite awhile. First of all, it took forever to order. People who came in after us, placed their order before us (and had a different server). The hostess sat all customers at adjacent tables, leaving 3/4 of the restaurant empty. Even forgetting about Covid, it would have been nice to separate people a little. My husband and I split the philly cheesesteak. The sandwich came with no onions. We called over the waitress and showed her the sandwich and she went back to speak with the cook. Then she came back and said "He said he put onions on the sandwich." Um...we had just shown her the sandwich after she'd put it on the table. Did she think we'd picked them off and shoved them in our mouths that quickly? So we once again took apart the sandwich and asked where they were and she pointed to the underside of the bun which had, what we thought, was butter before the bread was heated. She said she thought that was the onions and the cook had cooked them so much that they had become mush and soaked into the bread. What?!?! And this is okay here? There was not one tangible onion on the sandwich. No offer to bring out some onions, which was all we really wanted. No offer to even remake the sandwich, call over a manager, or reduce the bill. We didn't eat the sandwich. By then it was a cold, unappetizing blob. The fried okra was good, however. We will never eat here again. Also, this place has some neat decor with pictures of music legends...why in the world were we forced to listen to 90s pop? I think we heard 3 Gwen Stefani songs in the 45 minutes or so that we were there. When we asked the waitress she said it was whatever the bartender wanted to listen to and that was his playlist. So don't visit Abbey Road and expect to hear the Beatles, Guns N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, or any of the greats. Prepare yourself for Christina Aguilera and the like. My advice, skip the bad food and the bad music and...

The wife and I went to this location for the first time. I ordered the Fish and Chips and she had a Lamb Gyro with a side salad. It was not busy but was steady. We ordered our drinks a draft beer and a bottle beer with one water. The water showed up but, the waitress had to go back to the bar for the beers. No problem but, we still did not get to order our appetiser. The waitress returned with the beers and asked us for our order. Started with the Spinich Artichoke dip and ordered our entrées at the same time. The Dip, love the fact that they serve it with both pita bread and tortilla chips. But, the dip itself was bland compared to others we have had. Our entrées were delivered to our table in haste by another waitress who promptly left. So, fish and chips no malt vinegar or catsup not even a question if I wanted either. The fish was over cooked but the fries tasted good and had a goid crisp and texture to them. My wife said the lamb was bland. Our wItress did not return to ask how was the food or if we needed anything else until we had finished eating, which at that point all I wanted was a check. I did see that a young boy had an accident with his drink and our waitress did go up to him to let him know it was alright and gave him a pen that he was interested in, while others came and mopped up the spill and placed wet floor signs up. So the two stars are for making the embarrassing situation for that young boy less embarrassing and making him feel better. And the fact that the fries were good. Word of advice though, if you serve Fish and Chips make sure your staff know that Malt vinegar is usually the condiment. Or at least catsup for the fries. Wife said we will never go back there again. There are better restaurants...
