Trackside Taproom — Restaurant in Gaffney

After dinner across the street without a beer, I was ready for a wind down and something that might keep me from getting heartburn. Chiliburgers and fries? Bruce, what were you thinking?

Trackside was warm and welcoming. Several people were digging in to plates of wings that looked really tasty. I ordered a beer at the bar and brought it to a table towards the back. Sitting with my laptop for an hour or two to write Yelp reviews and plan tomorrow's route, it was nice to watch the comings and goings here in this fun little spot. Friendly, kind, clean. The bartender stopped by a couple of times to check on me and yes, I ended up having a second beer.

Always enjoyed this place as a taproom. Great selection of beers and really nice atmosphere. The owners are also super nice and friendly. When they started doing food, I really wanted to check their wings out. Their wings were sooooo good and it definitely bumped this place up my list even more. I got the cheerwine sauce/wings, and that was the best sauce I’ve ever had on a wing. This place has officially tied my favorite wing place (the other is a smoked wings place so honestly very different type of wing), and it’s not even meant to be a wing place! A friend and I had a quick getaway to Gaffney and in true form neither of us checked places or things to do. So lucky for us we picked a good dinner location and the owner of this tap room sat down beside us at the bar.

After dinner we decided to look up where this taproom was (based off his shirt) and it was within walking distance so off we went. We arrived as only the second party. The other owner proceeded to treat us to tastings of her favorite ciders and we both found one that we enjoyed.
