Normally I love this place!!! Great food!!!! Been in business a long time!!! Differnt locations!!! But the experience I had this time was truly terrible! 1 we waited atleast 15 mins for the lady to bring our sauce and nachos 2 after waiting that long and having the spicy sauce delivered it took at the very least 10 mins for our waiter to ask for our drinks and then 10 mins later the drinks were finally here 3 when they took our order they missed my niece who was there with several other family members and is only 9 so I guess she thought someone ordered for her also she nor anyone around her was asked what she would like! ( well take half blame for that) 4 they brought us drinks we didn't order 5 brought my mom the wrong food 6 didn't check in on us or fill our glasses 7 didn't get the things we needed like sauces until after we needed them regardless of asking several times!! Then because we had 9 people (all on several differnt checks) they added an 8 percent tip!!! Regardless of the AWFUL service we all would have tipped him because it was busy,even tho busy doesn't account for no apology and HORRIBLE service ( I mean they make there money on tips) I just find it awful they can deliver terrible service and add 8 percent to every check because ur all together!!!! Read moreThis is my favorite Mexican restaurant! and has been for years since first opening here in Gaffney. The food is always delicious and served hot, the atmosphere has always been fun and quite welcoming, and most important of all is the wonderful family that owns and operates this establishment. I have watched the children of this family grow from youngsters, who all, together, ran the register and delivered to the tables from such young ages and now they have grown into adults who handle this restaurant like champs! They are very gracious and personable with their customers while always remembering their regulars and treating them with such respect like old friends. They have always appreciated your business and have no problem showing gratitude for your loyalty to their family's business by welcoming you time after time to come enjoy a meal with them and soak up a little genuine hospitality that rivals that of the oldest southern hospitality providers of days gone by. A truly, enjoyable experience that never lets me down is having a meal with this wonderful, beloved family that joined us here in Gaffney so many years ago!! Read moreI’ve been coming to this place for a long time and have always appreciated the food and the service—especially when Hector was around. But after our most recent visit, I’m not sure we’ll ever be back unless something is made right.
We called in our usual order and asked for the same 4 bags of chips we always get with our 2 cheese dips togo. Hector has always taken care of us with those, but this time a young girl at the counter insisted we had to pay for them. Fine, no problem—we paid without arguing.
But when we arrived, the order was completely wrong. We brought it back in to have it corrected, only to be met with the worst attitude imaginable. Not only was the staff rude and dismissive, but this same young girl told us—in an extremely unprofessional tone—to never mention Hector’s name again, even though we know him personally.
They made it clear this would be the only time they would “fix” our order, and then didn’t even do that correctly. One of the dishes, the chipotle chicken, was missing the chipotle sauce entirely. So even after all the attitude, we still didn’t get what we paid for.
