In all of the years that I have eaten at Chick-fil-A I have never felt the need to check my order because it has only been wrong once several years ago before the Pandemic at the Dawsonville Highway location & it was a dine in & the manager comped our order for the inconvenience so I was of the belief that their customer Service was the best of all the others. 1 we are a very large family that absolutely loves the food at Chick-fil-A. On this particular day in question at this location at approximately 2pm there were relatively long lines with no outside order takers. The wait is a small price to pay for great food. Many places are short staffed. Its understandable. We were patient & ordered about $88 of food. We arrived home anxiously awaiting to eat together as a family only to find that our order was short all of our fries which were 4 medium orders of fries and 3 original sandwiches. So the majority of the family started eating while I and 1 of my daughters returned for the rest of our food. We went through the Drive Through yet again with no outside order takers. We sat in that line for 25 minutes. I explained our dilemma through the speaker. I light heartedly mentioned that it would be nice if they comped a couple of brownies. The order taker said ok. We go to the Window receive what our original order lacked. We checked our bag this time. Everything was there except the brownies. I asked about them & the lady said I don't know anything about that. I contemplated asking to speak to a manager but decided against it because there were so many other people behind me in line who had been patiently waiting also. So I just drove away completely dissatisfied with this experience. I'm also going to mention that the person who fielded my complaint at the Drive Through speaker Did not apologize NOR did the person who gave us our missing items at the window. I provided them with our receipt also.
The Food was great but you guys get an F for Failing in the Customer Service Department. I'm not going to rate on the wait time the first trip when we originally placed the order but that 2nd time that I waited for a correction for 25 minutes is your fault. Its just a shame that our time wasn't even worth 2 brownies.
We are "frequent Flyers" at Chick-fil-A but as of yet we have not returned to eat there.
I'm sure that we will return when that undeniable urge hits us but as for now that day completely left a "bad taste"...
Read moreI have stopped and eaten at this location of Chick-fil-a on multiple occasions over the last year. All of my experiences have been nothing less than five-star.
I am normally in the area during the lunch time rush and this location is very busy during this period. Parking can sometimes we limited but the adjoining Kroger lot offers plenty of additional space and I typically park here just to avoid getting stuck in the drive-thru traffic which can be substantial.
On today's visit, I entered near the end of the huge rush but walked in to find the line extending to the door and several people deep. In any other establishment I would have turned around and left knowing it would take forever to be served but in typical Chick-fil-a fashion the line moved and I was soon greeted by a friendly, smiling staff member who promptly took my order.
I grabbed my condiments and found an empty table to the far end of the dining area and it was clean and free of any mess. Before I could be seated my meal was arriving and I sat to eat. From the time I walked inside the door until I sat with my meal, despite the large crowd, I had been there for seven minutes. I have waited to be seated at many places for much longer when they don't have a rush.
My meal was hot, fresh and as at any Chick-fil-a, it was excellent. My drink was half full and refilled and my empty tray was taken while I was attending to a few emails before getting back on the road.
I would not hesitate to stop at this location anytime I am in the Gainesville area. In my experience, it has always...
Read moreOne of the worst establishments I’ve been too in the area. Came for breakfast after getting off of a 12 hour shift from the hospital to get a chicken biscuit, only to discover while driving down the road a very long piece of string stuck between the bread and meat of the biscuit. I was initially shocked at how long the string was, thankfully I hadn’t swallowed it. I wondered where it could have came from, and how it got stuck inside my biscuit I called the establishment soon after and spoke with the manager. She said that we could come back and I didn’t want to but my partner insisted that we went back so we did. Not only did I waste my time driving back but I wasted gas, especially with the price of gas right now. When I finally arrived at the establishment I spoke to a very young cashier who didn’t even give me her name and I told her I had spoke to the manager about the problem another young girl in a managers shirt approached me she asked if I wanted a refund or a biscuit but I demanded both I explained to her that I could’ve choked and asked how possibly a string got into a biscuit. Where did it even come from not only is this a matter of carelessness but a matter of cleanliness. She refunded me for the price of the biscuit and gave me another but just thinking about the whole experience still leaves me mad. Maybe they should hire managers who care more about their customers and an actual adult to run the establishment. The manager couldn’t even come up with a reason as to why there was a string in...
