I walk into this Zaxby's at 10:00pm and my order placed very quickly (10:03pm). Since I have lived in college towns for well over 25 years, I know that sometimes a place like this (that's closes at 11) maybe use 10/15 minute old food. This is my one and only cheat meal. I wanted it as good as could be. I asked specifically and politely to make my tenders fresh and that I would be more than willing to wait for the complete me...they seemed to have no problem with it. The food comes out in a timely manner. Texas toast wasn't fully buttered, but ok. Their crinkle cut french fries, hot and tasty. The chicken tenders? Cold and old (like cold). I walk my food back up to the front and ask for new tenders I originally asked for and again, was willing to wait. Still keeping the faith.
The person who took my order originally apologized and told the kitchen to drop fresh chicken tenders. I go back to my table, eat my fries/toast and wait. 8/10 minutes later I go back up and nothing has been done. She asked me to wait while they cook some fresh ones and it is at this point I walked out.
This is not new for this location. I have no problem with other Zaxby's just this one. Management should do something because for sure, I will tell everyone to spend your dollar down the street. If you are craving Zaxby's and need to count on it, DO NOT go here. I hope they are listening.
If they are, Server: 443, Br.. S. Chk 8534, Oct12 '19 10:03PM Your simplest order possible: #1 Big Zax Snk Meal
You should be able to get the #1 correct...again, it is the location. I will not judge other Zaxby's by this location's lack of service, you shouldn't either. To their credit, again, their fries...
Read moreThis was a horrible experience. Every single item in the order was made incorrectly, and the replacement order was still wrong. The cook paid no attention to the customizations, and when it was incorrect, instead of the manager taking the time to make or check the order himself, he simply told the cook to remake it. Undersized portions, lukewarm & soggy fries (I ordered them "well done"), and every entree had at least one chicken FINGER that was more like a chicken TOE. I ordered (and paid for) extra sauces, which I went over with the counter employee so that she would know the exact total of each that I should receive. She counted up the "extras," and prepared a small bag with all of the sauces in advance, which should have been fine, except the kitchen failed to send the correct number and type of sauces that should have come with each item. All of the staff had masks on, but most of them (ALL of the kitchen staff) were wearing them with their noses sticking out. I like Zaxby' s, but I won't be visiting this location again. They have a serious problem in the kitchen, that is based on a lack of supervision, resulting in poor...
Read moreI've been to this Zaxby's multiple time. 75% of the it ok the other 25% just horrible. I went here last week and got stuck in the drive way for over 10 mins. After listening to three songs I finally got to the pick-up window. "With only three cars ahead of me I couldn't figure out what was taking so long". After waiting over almost a minute I finally waved for them to open the window. I asked the cashier if my food was ready. She told me yes just that the computer register was messing up. I was fine with the answer she gave, but the attitude that came with it. I was not. She proceeded to take my card and closed the window staring back at me and waiting for their manager and other employees to figure out what to do. While waiting for my food time kept going by. "When your on a lunch break time is important". By then I was already late getting back to work so I just asked for my card back. I didn't even want the food. I like the resturants food some of the staff there is good but the rest could use customer service and hospitality training. Will I be returning to this establishment...
