It’s never felt necessary to leave a bad review, especially not on a fast food place. Obviously I don’t expect outstanding service but at the very least I expect to be in and out without getting pissed off. I drove up about 3 hours before closing, 2 cars in the drive through already. I checked to see if I could walk in to place an order, door was locked. I try calling in to ask if the dining area was closed, phone call gets declined after a few rings. I place an online order for pickup through the drive through for my friend and I. I get in line and I’m waiting for over 45 minutes before I even get to the menu with the speaker. The line serpentines in front of the drive through window, so after the 30 minute mark, I’m just watching the drive through attendant and her coworker looking like they’re arguing. Two other male coworkers step out in the back of the restaurant to take out the trash, they open the dumpster enclosure area and are laughing, talking and smoking for over 15 minutes before going back inside. Eventually, I get to the speaker, there are still four other cars behind me who have been waiting for just as long. Multiple people have already left the line. Pure silence from the speaker until I say “hello?” and am immediately hit with “Hi, we’re actually all out of food.” No further explanation and it sounded like a joke. So I say “can you tell me what I’m supposed to do about my mobile order?” Pure silence for 15 minutes. A woman who had previously left the line in front of me comes back and starts knocking on the window for about three minutes before the drive through attendant even bothers to turn around, she had forgotten to give her like half of her order. The microphone was unmuted on her headset so when she closed the window back up I just heard her talking and giggling in the back like there weren’t currently five cars in line. Again I say “Hello??” And she had the nerve to say “Hey we’re all out of food tonight” and again I have to state I have a mobile order. Finally I’m told to drive up, she hands me a bag and smiles at me while she says “I’m so sorry”. Half of the food was cold, toast was soggy. Chicken was fine. I didn’t catch her or any of her male coworkers names but she had big curly hair and a bunch of silver piercings I think. I understand things go wrong and mistakes happen but at the very least have the coherency to just put a sign on the window saying “closed early” or walk outside to the line of cars that have clearly been waiting for about an hour and tell them to stop wasting their time. This was Friday the...
Read moreYou ever had service so bad you refuse to go back to the location? Last week I came here for dinner and got into the drive thru. When I entered at 7:25 there we two cars in front of me. Fast forward 40, yes fourty minutes, I’m finally able to place my order. While the time was far more than what should have been, I didn’t even have an issue with it. I’ve worked in fast food and have seen both sides of the coin to understand. However, what did it for me, was when asking how long it would be for my food to come out or if I would have to pull over (since I have been in line at this point for almost an hour) instead of being answered by the cashier - the manager instead comes to the window. I guess it was an awful night for her because I’ve seen her come to the window for multiple other orders. What she didn’t do with those orders was slam the window in their face - ignoring me when she finally did open it to hand me my food (I didn’t get my drink or sauces). I waited at this window for 5 minutes until she told me through the closed window that I would need to come inside and she’s not answering questions or giving additional product out through the window. What??? I was increasingly confused to which the older woman took offense and actually turned her back to the window, waving me away while not w even faces towards me. I’m not sure if I was mistaken for somebody else or if my question was misinterpreted - but to have to wait for an hour and get ignored when ordering or talking - about missing food in said order - alongside the awful attitude I was given after such a long wait when I could have been understandably not - I’m proud to say I am now a Huey Magoo’s fan and will no longer visit Zaxbys. I hope the manager finds peace in life if she isn’t able to find a job that doesn’t make her...
Read moreFirst time eating here in years and was not a good experience. I placed a curbside order and once I checked in on the app to let the restaurant know I was here, I waited in the car for over 10 minutes. It was pretty busy so I just went inside to attempt to pick it up since I feared the app didn’t notify them I was her. An employee noticed I was waiting my the mobile order rack and asked if I had placed an online order. I said yes, and she said “it’s not ready yet”. Didn’t ask for my name or didn’t offer to check just in case. I told her okay no, problem. I know it’s busy. She then looks at a bag behind the counter. She asks me “are you Lisa, with a curbside order?” I told her yes. Thought to myself if my order is ready and they know it’s for curbside then I didn’t understand why it wasn’t brought out to me in the first place. The worker said “next time tell me that you have a curbside order so there’s no confusion, we don’t put curbside orders on the rack.” I said okay. She repeated herself again and again and gave me an unnecessary prolonged explanation. I understood her the first time, and now she’s made it seem like a big deaI. After that fiasco I just wished her a good day. I’m not one to start anything I just wanted out of there. On top of it, My food was cold, because it was sitting there for a while. The entire experience could’ve been avoided if my food was just brought out to me when I had requested it. It doesn’t take long to bring out a curbside order when it’s ready. I know it was busy but I felt like I was treated that it was my fault I didn’t get my food in a timely manner.
Tried to skip the drive thru line but ended up making it...
