Came here with my husband, and everything seemed to be going well. Sat at the bar ordered a few drinks and the Sydney Shrooms. Then we got our entrées everything changed. I ordered the Filet Sheila as it comes minus the fried carrots. When a server brought my meal, it came with the carrots, and the mushrooms weren't on there. Big disappointment. My husband ordered the Outback Prime Rib with mushrooms and cheese melted on top. What he got was Prime Rib with NO mushrooms or cheese on top of the Prime Rib. The mushrooms were on the side. The bartender asked how everything looked, and of course, we told him that it looked nothing like what we ordered. He then said he could take my husband's Prime Rib back to the kitchen and have them add the cheese and mushrooms but that would mean cooking the steak more which was not an option for my husband. He called over the manager and explained the situation to him, he offered to do what the bartender offered but again my husband didn't want the Prime Rib cooked even more. He ordered it medium rare and wanted it to stay medium rare. The manager said that he would offer to have a new meal be prepared. We said no because we didn't want this meal to go to waste and we would eat it. We simply told him we were asked how everything looks, and we told them that our meal came out wrong. Even though we appreciate the offers to make it right, we wanted to let them know this is not how we ordered our meal. 15% was taken off our meal. But the kicker to the whole situation is it was as if we were shunned afterwards. I know it sounds silly but there were two bartenders and the girl who took our order disappeared we never saw her again. The other bartender checked on us one time to see how the meal was. The manager never came back and said sorry for the mess up this is what I'm willing to do. When we left we walked past the manager no acknowledgement from him. A simple apology for the mess up is more appreciated than anything. I'm sure after reading this it's not hard to figure out that we will not be...

Outside seating is not a priority and runs limited wait staff. We were told we would have a 1 hour wait, after 10 minutes a table was ready. We were seated in a spot to represent focal contact from other customers. We were dressed up and looked amazing. We discussed and decided to get up and place an order for takeout since the risk was not worth the reward. It took a moment to get a takeout waiter. After ordering, we used the outside space for various photoshoots, then got our vehicle and pulled up to the take out parking. Soon our food was walked out. We checked and noticed our double order of fries was instead a single order so we asked and showed the missing component. Within 1 minute we received a 2nd order and ate those on the along way to our next destination, cheesecake factory to pick up desert.
The fries were good and the meat selection was great. The blooming onions 🌰 transformed into a gloop pile of smelly oil so we didn't dare eat it. Instead, we gave it to our garden as compost. The steak had a heavy butter flavor and I know there are other ingredients that can be used to make the steak taste much better while maintaining the textures. The meat had no fat, an excellent cut. 👌 We mixed the lobster in our own rice bowl mix which was yummy. The lobster was small but was good to try since I am new to eating that type of sea faring creature.
The visual astectic of the bread swayed our decision to feed it to the ducks at North Florida Medical Center instead of eating it ourselves, we didn't want the bread to go to waste. The ducks that have a pumpernickel taste craving enjoyed it...
Read moreI'm giving this a 5 only because of the care Outback took post-major event. The MP was great and the following experiences were awesome...
We had a rough experience on my 30th birthday, getting accidentally gluten-ed and then having a really aggressive manager, Ellie (?), refuse to do anything to help us other than give us a couple of expired coupons for a Bloomin' Onion (that I can't eat). We gave them back and, when we called afterward to speak to a different manager and were put on hold so a refund could be issued, she picked up the phone ("you're the one with the gluten problem, right? Yeah, I was the one who gave you coupons already for your trouble"). She told us off, saying that "it's common sense, obviously you can get any appetizer at any of our locations, even if it is expired. We'd honor it." She said we didn't need a refund and they'd pay for my hospital bills if I decided to go. It was just really disappointing that anyone, especially a manager, would treat someone so unkindly.
HOWEVER.... since then (and being helped by the MP, who is amazing), we've had both AJ and Brianna on the two most recent visits and felt the need to say something because they are AMAZING. Seriously, ASK FOR THEM. They made sure to enter my meal in as "Gluten Free" to ensure I didn't have a kitchen mix-up, ensured it was safe and the temp we enjoy when it hit the table, and really made sure we didn't need anything throughout our meal. They were so kind and personable, they really interacted with my kid (which is SO great to see :) ), they remembered us from the previous experience, and they made sure we had a really wonderful and welcoming experience. I said something to the manager on shift, but I want to put...
