Sleep Number — Hotel in Gainesville

My husband and I are both disabled, purchased sleep number because of the reviews, unfortunately they are very much over rated and I found an air mattress more comfortable than this(which what we have had a remote). We contacted to return, pick up was about a month later, we had the mattresses ready to go. Mind you they charge you 250 to ship to you, as you are not allowed to purchase at a store according to them when we purchased, and apparently their free trial is malarkey as well because you’re also charged 250 to return, the gas from Jacksonville to my house isn’t an 1/8 of the 250. So basically the company makes 500 of you even if their product is sub par and they say free trial. Absurd a company would do this to families during these times. My advice, your free trial will cost you 500 if you don’t like them. Oh and they won’t refund for up to 60 days. Got to get their interest on their credit card. Seems to me it’s fraud. *note I never received confirmation of my return until I reached out, I was not aware of the charges I would encounter if I didn’t like the product, when I called in i specifically asked about refunds as I have gone thru 5 mattresses trying to find the right one(Serta is the answer) and was not told I would endure charges, however today I’m told it’s on their website (but you have to fish for it)...

You can not exchange or return the base. They will charge you for a new base if you exchange to a different mattress size. Over-priced mattresses that are no better than any other expensive mattress or cheaper one for that matter. The person in store said everything was returnable. READ THE FINE PRINT customer service says. Ok. Got it.

DO NOT buy from sleep number unless you plan on losing money and sleep. They are seriously taking advantage of a health need; sleep. Those seeking these types of mattresses are usually in pain. This is absolutely 100% taking advantage of people trying to ease their pain.

As a Veteran with chronic pain and spine issues, this is the epitome of a company taking advantage of its consumers and just plain bad professionalism. They state a trial period IN STORE without honoring it ON PAPER. They have overpriced air mattresses that sound like plastic when you move around. No more or less comfortable than the air mattress I slept on while on vacation in the mountains... and I slept better knowing it only cost about $80.

If you have chronic pain, talk to your insurance about a bed before going to these swindlers. Save your...

I wish I could give this negative stars. The bed was horrible (i8), expensive (4k), and the service was horrible. (bought the bed knowing it was possible I may want to return it. But the sale was running out and you know the story. I was told I would not get my delivery fee off 250 back but would receive a full refund on the bed. So in my head 250 to try it. Wrong. Bed hurt both my shoulders and back and I've never had worse sleep. And it tracked it. 😂 So I call and she tries everything under the sun to send me toppers, try this and that. No I am done. This thing is a rock. So she tells me she will refund me the bed and not the delivery fee... yeah I know. Gives me a total it's 300 short. So back and forth she then tells me she is charging me 265 to pick it up plus tax. They were ya have a manager call.. never did. Then I get a hit on the phone he tells me to take it into the store and they won't charge me...well through asking for a manager she said no can't do that. So here I am out 500 to try this...
