Work with Mickie; she was a caring rep. Mattress sales are like new car sales, with inflated prices that they bargain down and 'ask their manager.' This place has all that, but they stand by their word, and --- writing 2 years after my purchase --- the quality and care they took to match me to right bed was really good. ALSO, I did take advantage of the generous return policy after some months of a higher end bed that was not quite right, and I thought it would be a false promise or hassle, but I did get to return and replace with a different kind of mattress, and couldn't be happier.

I can't give 5 stars b/c every mattress place is sleazy and weird on prices and heres the one thing to pay attention to: even though the sale price of the mattress I replaced it with was comparable to the price I paid for the old one, when I returned my mattress and replaced it, they use the non-sale prices and price difference between the two mattresses to assess the cost of the upgrade. So while I did not have to pay for the return or return shipping (a huge benefit), and I did have to cover the cost difference of two products (also, no problem, of course customers have to pay that.. ), the difference was more than looking at the sale prices for each mattress would have suggested. . So for clarity, and ask to get this written on your statement, ask how much credit, specifically, will go towards return and replacing each mattress, should you ever elect to return that mattress for a different one, and keep note of that amount! And then NEGOTIATE what price they will use to figure out the difference between your mattresses -- ask to be sure they use...

The purchase was easy, smooth, and quite enjoyable. With that I was quite happy, but the delivery of the product has been a nightmare. The first two times I was scheduled for delivery during times when I told them I could not possibly be at home. The second time they just happened to be able to swap me with someone else who was also scheduled for a time they could not possibly be home, I only had to leave work a little early. Then, the mattress was fine, but evidently the adjustable bed frame I had ordered was given to someone else and I was left with a bed frame with fewer features. They agreed to come back and replace it, but it was not until I called the store nearly 2 weeks later that anything was scheduled ... once again, requiring me to leave work early.

When the second delivery truck came in, I was asked by the driver if a supervisor had called me. They found evidence of bedbugs in the old mattress, so they were not allowed to deliver. I told them the house had been tent-fumigated because of that a few months ago, and if I had been contacted by this supervisor I would have had proof ready to show them. But as that supervisor was not working that day, there is a further delay. Now I have to schedule another time, probably take more time off work (after having needlessly done so last time) and I still don't have confidence that they will get my bed correctly delivered.

To make matters worse, I have to call the sales people to get arrangements made, and they never call me back or contact me until the day before they come out to deliver. All the phone contacts have been initiated by me - they have not ever...

I have been searching for mattress for my house and went to Ashley Furniture and got robbed so I was skeptical going to another large company. I’ll tell you right now that my skepticism for this company is gone. From walking in the door I was greeted and not pressured or hassled to purchase anything. It was definitely a welcoming environment. I feel bad because I think I forgot my sales associates’ name I think it was Nick? Nicolas? The gentleman that worked 3/25/19 at 1pm. He was explaining the differences between all the mattresses and provided his knowledge and experience to try and make the best decision. The main reason I went in store was to try out a mattress and order it online. The salesman told me the price match policy of Mattress Firm and it was at that point I made the decision to purchase from them vs online. They have a great warranty for the mattress I purchased plus the 120 night guarantee is fantastic especially compared to Ashley who has a 0 night warranty. If I had more bedrooms that needed mattresses, this will be the first place I go back to. It was a hassle...
