Perfectly shucked fresh oysters, a half pitcher of our favorite margarita, the chicken taquitos were perfect, and the tamales were great as expected. The Pico de Gallo and Worcestershire sauce instead of mignonette is brilliant! They put a candle in the flan that they gave Crystal for her birthday. It's a little thing, but we really appreciated it. We had a great time, and we're looking forward to returning for the FRIED OYSTERS that our friendly and attentive waitress told us about. Well, we've been back since then, but we didn't the fried oysters until last night. Yes, from the pastelitos to the costillas to the Cadillac margaritas, stopping for pupusas with tasty curtido (a cabbage slaw), EVERYTHING on the menu at Laredo Grill is great, but the seafood, particularly the pescado frito, the camerones rellenos, and the oysters on the half shell are standouts, so we tried the Salmon Campeche. It was lovely, and the sauce made their always delicious rice (yes, delicious rice) even tastier, but back to the oysters. OMG! We've been eating Laredo's fresh and perfectly shucked oysters on the half shell since we first found them on the specials board by the bar, and we love the nice job they do frying foods, e.g. the pescado frito and their taquitos rancheros, sooo... I asked if they would fry a dozen for us, knowing they would be freshly shucked and immediately fried. Let's just say they are the best in the county as far as we know, and better than at a lot of fancy downtown DC restaurants. Sad to finish them, but we'll be back. Soon. And maybe we'll bring friends and sit outside again and share a pitcher of those Cadillac margaritas, but they'll have to get their own fried oysters!

Two stars for the super nice customer service and for the salsa. That's pretty much it. The place looks nice but it's actually quite crowded on the inside. You actually have Hispanic waiters which is also a plus but the food... The food is TexMex at best! I find that to be awfully weird. My friends I all left feeling very BLAH about the whole dinner. The salsa was great, but not over $65 great. The menu is extremely oversaturated and with many things that all seem to be pretty much the same with the exception of one or two items. A large order of guacamole guarantees you about a cup and a half of blended avacados. That's it. Nothing more. We didn't leave hungry, but if we wanted a ton of refried beans tasteless rice and HandFuls of cheese we could've stayed home. We won't be back.

Attentive servers, all on duty asked me if I ever needed anything besides my assigned server. Clean tables and floors. Looked like they had a nice drink menu, bit too far from home for me to indulge. Will definitely eat here if I'm working in the area again, a bit pricy but I imagine rent is high for this shopping center. Definitely Tex-Mex but made from scratch and fresh, I did not leave hungry. Felt the meal was lacking some spice or depth, some housemade hot sauce would be nice or something to kick it up a notch. The plating of my meal was nice, and from the other photos shared, they follow a standard. Interested to try everything on the menu besides the quesidillas. Loved the Horchata! My go to whenever I see it on the menu.

Ha, this is not real Mexican food and I'm not even Mexican. I don't have an alternative Mexican restaurant to give you because I live in Florida. I will tell you this, velvetta cheese is not queso, and for $6 I expect more than a 1/4 block of velvetta with a lil pepper in it. The $25 pitcher of margarita was more like a premix where you taste more mix. We asked the server for no salt on the rim and he brought salt, table salt at that on the rim. Ordered beef tacos and server brought chicken tacos. Since I am not from MD, maybe this is good Mexican here but if you are ever in Florida...try a La Nopolera in Jacksonville, FL where the queso is a lil spicy and the $16 pitcher of margaritas taste like a margarita not just the mix. Thanks for reading, I hope this review helps you make the right choice to just eat somewhere else. JUST EAT TACO BELL AND BRING YOUR...

Regular, not out-of-the-ordinary Mexican-American restaurant that also offers Salvadoran food as the other house specialty. They offer crab meat quesadillas that were fine, although not enough guacamole nor sour cream, ended up using the pico de gallo from the courtesy crisp tortillas to accompany the last pieces. We also took the beef fajitas, (meat was tasty), chicken, and cheese quesadillas (yes, cheese plus cheese), were okay. The sangría was too sweet and not so much wine seemed to be part of it. The flan for desert was the only medium high note of the night. Too little for $30pp. The place was really not appealing, seating was uncomfortable despite it was almost empty, and the waitresses although correct and nice when interacting, looked more like Pretorian guards all other time, tense, kind of stearing to rush us up so they can go home than...
