McDonald's — Restaurant in Galena

That's it, I've had enough. I'd rather go hungry and wait until I get home to make some food. There's no longer anything from McDonald's that I think is worth buying.

A couple days ago I stopped and got two steak egg and cheese bagel sandwiches with no onions and light butter/sauce. When I got home I discovered that I was given two sausage bagel sandwiches.

I drove back in after calling to get replacements and they did give me a full refund but.. when I got home it looked like someone had chopped up the steak and sprinkled on bits of it, it was loaded with onions, it was also loaded with butter and sauce.

In a rush today so I decided to try one more time.

Same two sandwiches, only this time I question them on the size of the steak. It has to be about half the thickness it used to be and doesn't even cover 3/4 of the bun. They told me that's the way it is now.

Talk about false advertising! I think I might even file some complaints before I'm done, I really do think this is false advertising!

Don't waste your money unless you absolutely have to! It would be better to go down to Piggly wiggly or the Walmart deli in town and get something there if...

Today I visited McDonald's for a McChicken and a blue raspberry frozen. Once I paid for my order and moved up to the window I was given my frozen and told to pull forward for my McChicken. I stated I did not want to pull out it was down pouring rain there was no one ahead of me or behind me. I was then told I did not have a choice but needed to pull forward once again. When I refused I was told that they would give me a refund that my business was not appreciated. Once I received my refund the lady States to enjoy my frozen that was free. Once I looked at the receipt I realized it was only the McChicken when I mentioned to her that I would be contacting corporate over the center action she told me good and to not come back. I cannot believe this is the type of service that are McDonald's in town is offering. She was the most rude person I've ever had the experience with McDonald's. A McChicken does not take long and it was not busy there's no reason I needed to pull forward. I really hope this issue is resolved as I will be making sure that other people and companies know about the horrible customer service at...

I waited 20 min for a dollar cup of coffee. And was told to wait. Watched 3 or 4 cars get food and leave. Talked with another passenger for 15 or more min. Dollar coffee never came. Almost just drove off. But went through, as I had paid for it. Could have brewed my own faster at this point. Kid at the window, oh they only gave 5 employees. Ok so they never brought out a dollar coffee, is your manager here? Finally manager wanders over, and tells me the 20 min I waited was 5, even though Id had plenty of time to watch the clock. And the MANAGER leads with Im the liar, instead of hey sorry for the wait, or just say nothing hand you the dollar coffee. Besides the huge waste of time, the manager was just rude. Ill just make my own coffee, thats the 5th plus time this happened. The other reviews are not wrong people will just stop going there if the employees make you wait that long for a dollar coffee, you can make yourself faster. Im no longer going to Galena Mc donalds, anyone who does enjoy your wait and being berated by the "manager" that it never happened. What a waste of time, dont worry Ill make my own...
