Los Amigos is (in my opinion) a very clean, beautiful, and welcoming restaurant with an amazing menu! The decor took me back home with a lovely terracotta wall color, leather type seats, and beautifully painted pictures & murals (they seemed to be done by the same artist, but I forgot to ask). There's a nice bar with a t.v. if you drink &/or are a sports fan and the service was so pleasant and professional that I would return based on the service alone! The salsa & pico was so fresh that the flavors seemed to dance perfectly together and the presentation of the main course was hands down the BEST I have seen in a very long time! The flavors of the seasonings in the main course were such that it made me want to savor as much as I could in every single bite - my compliments to the chef! I showed my age when the waiter asked what hot sauce I preferred; he said "tapatío" & I thought he said "tilapia" which confused me for a moment LOL (age happens). Anyway, if you're looking for a great Mexican food experience in Tennessee try Los Amigos! {Pictured are Fajitas Texanas &...
Read moreWe’ve eaten here often but last night’s experience will keep me from coming back anytime soon. The waiter was trying to be either funny or rude. The result was it being difficult to order, him making us feel weird when we ordered cheese dip, he ran away so fast we couldn’t finish our drink or food order, and he interrupted one of us while they were ordering to ask for his menu. My food was made wrong and no one apologized. I was sent the same food with most of the ingredient picked off. The reason I asked for something not to be added to my food is due to an allergy. If you’re too cheap to fix your own mistake, you don’t deserve my business. Bad service, lack of appropriate effort in the kitchen, and expensive prices are interesting ways to compete with all the other restaurants in the area. Low quality employees usually suggests low...
Read moreWe were in town visiting friends when we decided to get some last-minute Mexican food on our final night. Our friends had been there before and highly recommend it when we got there. It was very easy to get a table and there is lots of seatings in multiple different rooms. We started off with margaritas and definitely recommend the frozen traditional house margaritas. We had fajitas, a couple different types of enchiladas, and my top recommendation would be the Burrito California. This is probably the most flavorful ones I’ve had of this classic burrito. The steak was tender and well seasoned and the queso sauce was perfect. This burrito is definitely big enough to split between two people, and I ended up taking more than half of it home. We will definitely visit again next time we...
