I'm reviewing this Starbucks location not because of their food or coffee because I think it's pretty well known how it is and that you either like it or you don't but I for one actually really like it. I brought my daughter here and got her just something to drink and I grabbed a very basic coffee, however the thing that was imperative that I said in this review was how incredible the staff here is. I can't imagine working at a particular location that sees so much traffic that it wraps around the building and just about blocks you from being able to even get into the parking lot and not getting flustered. However this staff manages to keep the line moving and a timely manner, they managed to stay polite, cheerful, and maintain a courteous disposition, all in the face of being absolutely slammed busy. I have witnessed this happen on numerous occasions and it is unbelievable the level of professionalism and care that these people at this location have. I'm not sure how they managed to keep it doing that every time but...
Read moreI've always loved this starbucks, mostly because of out of all the ones I've been to they are always friendly and have fantastic sugar free options that taste amazing. This review is for a specific employee, that I really want to brag about. I went with my cousin, and we ordered our drinks. I usually get sugar free, but I ALWAYS get decaf simply because to much caffeine gives me heart palpitations, freaks me out and puts my anxiety in overdrive. Well I ordered a sugar free mocha frappuccino with a little carmel drizzle and forgot to say decaf. I felt so bad because I hadn't realized that I forgot to ask for decaf until after they were already making our drinks. I felt soooooo bad, but I asked if she could make me a decaf instead and gave my reason why after apologizing for causing trouble. She was very understanding and happily made me a new one. Her name is Brooking, and she definitely deserves a raise or some good recognition for being an outstanding, respectful, and kind...
Read moreThe Starbucks at the 109 bypass used to have a super neighborhood vibe. The staff is very friendly and they had a friendly book exchange spot. Super neighborhoody and fun. The book exchange is the only reason I went exclusively to that store. It was fun and every time I went by I bought something. (Imagine that.) And then the district manager apparently felt some kind of way about being too cozy with the customers - maybe she’s a transfer from McDonald's or something - and she threw the book exchange box out. That was this SB swag. It was part of their personal vibe and it encouraged literacy and community involvement. There are plenty of SB to choose from (and most don’t have such awful intersections to navigate) and it’s sad to see someone who obviously is not part of our community make such arbitrary and negative decisions. This is a coffee shop. It’s supposed to be cozy and encourage people to stay a while. If we wanted a McDonalds experience we could do...
