Note: I tried to write this review over a month ago but it wasn’t possible for some reason. Clearly Bohemian Bull deleted their google profile so they could delete all their bad reviews and replace them with 5 star reviews that they magically received all on the same day. I go to 5 star restaurants that actually earn their ratings and don’t ask friends and staff to write reviews. Shame on you.
Decided to try this place since I had a coupon. Reviews were either great or really bad so wasn’t sure what kind of day they would be having. Came around 5. It wasn’t busy. Not sure what my server was doing half the time but we were in a booth by the kitchen door and it sounded like a party in there. My husband could see our beers sitting on the bar for over 5 minutes, so no head on them when we got them. Then my son dropped my phone on the side of the booth and I made the mistake of using my flashlight. There was so much crumbs and filth, I felt like I needed a tetanus shot sticking my hand down there. Then I started looking around. It’s football season and TVs haven’t been dusted in a long time. Then the crud on the floor by the kitchen door caught my eye and I couldn’t even eat my food after that. Can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. On top of that, the staff certainly had plenty of time to hang out at the host stand while tables around us had plates and garbage all over them for 30 minutes. Where’s the manager? Thankfully the bathrooms were ok…A service probably does that cause clearly no one cares about doing basic routine cleaning even where the customers sit. Didn’t even see the hosts wipe the menus in between guests, which is pretty gross since they have so much finger food.
As for the food, how does a burger place serve soggy fries, then burn Brussels sprouts to death and then ruin ahi tuna under a heat lamp? The food took what felt like forever to come out…makes me think it was just sitting there.
No wonder they have so many coupons and half price burger day. I used the attractions coupon, but I still won’t buy the sweet deals $50 gift certificate for $25. The only way it would be worth it is to use it on half price burger day or for beer - but I worry about what I can’t see if it’s that filthy on the surface. What a mess....
Read moreBohemian Bull is hands-down one of the best spots in Murrells Inlet! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, upbeat, and full of energy. The staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home.
The food was absolutely outstanding — everything came out fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The burgers are next-level, packed with bold flavor, and paired perfectly with their crispy fries. Their drink selection is just as impressive, with creative cocktails and an excellent variety of local craft beers.
What stood out most was the overall vibe — whether you’re here for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or just to relax with a cold drink, Bohemian Bull delivers every time. Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere make this place a must-visit in Murrells Inlet.
Highly recommend — we’ll...
Read moreWe regularly eat at the BB on Wednesdays because they have the best burgers at half price. Excellent burgers of all sorts. And the side is included! The alternative chicken sandwich is so-so, but the bowls, according to our friends, are outstanding. We have favorite waitresses and favorite drinks. Great atmosphere with seating inside, on a screened porch, or fully outside. TVs everywhere and a long bar. Love their bourbon selection. I look forward to checking out more...
