We went here after seeing the very high review scores online. First thing we noticed pulling into the parking lot was not a lot of spaces and a small building compared to most breakfast spots in myrtle area. We didn't let that steer us away because we wanted to try the good food according to Google reviews score.
We walked inside of the building and immediately noticed about a third of the tables were dirty with empty plates on them. We asked to have a table cleaned for us when we placed our order.
Placing our order we all wanted a traditional style breakfast with eggs and a meat. I got the biggest meal I could find on the menu since I was starving with a big appetite. The meal had 2 eggs. A small piece of sausage and a biscuit with sausage gravy.
The food was excellent, but for me I could have ate two of those. The portions could definitely be improved on if you want to compete with some of the bigger breakfast places. Its bad when a McDonald's sausage patty is bigger than yours.
My father ordered coffee and said it was lukewarm, only after he complained 3 times fresh coffee was made.
Overall we loved the biscuits, which seems to be this places niche, hence the name of the place. Unless you really want a biscuit meal I don't see this competing with other bigger places. They seemed understaffed and struggling to make the orders fast enough for the summer crowd.
While I enjoyed the food I don't see myself coming back when there's tons of competition with better portions and actual waiters to serve...
Read moreWe visited twice in as many days and I would've completed the threepeat if we didn't need to leave for home before they opened. The true measure of any biscuit house is the quality of, shockingly, their biscuits. While this is a pretty obvious statement, we've all fallen victim to hard dry, and wholly undesirable specimens from places that boldy claim them as their signature dish. I can confidently attest that Millstone falls nowhere near this class of sad brekkie purveyors and is very much worth your consideration for your most important meal of the day.
Across our visits we sampled the steak biscuit, BEC, sausage biscuit with hashbrown, and their epic burrito to broaden our sample pool. They all were hits with an especially emphatic hat tip to the quality of their biscuits: huge, fluffy, and the perfect vessel for all that Millstone offers.
Tables are adorned with pre-portioned butter, jams, s & p, hot sauce, and ketchup which covers most of your condiment needs. Space is limited on the inside, so you might find the need to order to go and enjoy your meal offsite.
Overall, I was very impressed by the food and service to match. 5 stars, we'll be back on...

Millstone Biscuit Co. is a breath of fresh air. Their biscuits are the real star: fluffy, golden, and perfectly satisfying. We couldn't resist trying the Fried Chicken with Biscuit & Gravy, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the gravy was rich and flavorful.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Apple Biscuit is a tempting option. While I personally found it a touch light on sweetness, it was still enjoyable. It's worth noting that seating is limited. However, the turnover is quick, so we didn't have to wait long for a table.
Overall, Millstone Biscuit Co. provided a delicious and unique breakfast experience in Myrtle Beach. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an escape from the standard breakfast fare and a chance to savor some truly...
