Tired of the same old breakfast options at Myrtle Beach? We were too! That's why we ventured off the beaten path and discovered Millstone Biscuit Co. thanks to some great Google reviews. Millstone Biscuit Co. is a breath of fresh air. Their biscuits are the real star: fluffy, golden, and perfectly satisfying. We couldn't resist trying the Fried Chicken with Biscuit & Gravy, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy and juicy, and the gravy was rich and flavorful. For those with a sweet tooth, the Apple Biscuit is a tempting option. While I personally found it a touch light on sweetness, it was still enjoyable. It's worth noting that seating is limited. However, the turnover is quick, so we didn't have to wait long for a table. Overall, Millstone Biscuit Co. provided a delicious and unique breakfast experience in Myrtle Beach. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking an escape from the standard breakfast fare and a chance to savor some truly exceptional biscuits!

Excellent choice for our breakfast date while on vacation. Biscuits were perfectly fluffy (I make my own at home that are the same, so high praise 😅), and great service. Husband got a more normal option with sausage, egg and cheese and said it was great. Our pancake was gigantic. My shrimp basket biscuit was delightful. Perfectly and LIGHTLY breaded and nicely seasoned shrimp, roasted red peppers, slaw and fries, all on a biscuit. Any biscuit is good but most of the typical additions to them are heavier, even if delicious. This combo was a nice and lighter change of pace that left me totally satisfied. The fried apples were great, too. I'm sad this is here and not in Richmond where we live ☺️ highly recommend. They also have indoor and outdoor seating, which is great. Order and pay at the counter, then they bring it to your table.

The most perfectly executed Appalachian breakfast platter I’ve ever had. Food was outstanding. Mile-high fluffy, house made biscuits were the best I’ve had since grandma’s. The waitress brought out some honey and told me to try it on top and that took it to the next level. Their sausage gravy was to die for. I’d eat this all over again. And again. Service was warm, friendly, with a personal touch. Every single employee had a smile and a thoughtful conversation ready to go. That made the meal here even better. The owner is all hands on deck and kills it on the griddle. Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast or lunch. You’ll make it a daily occasion!

We went here after seeing the very high review scores online. First thing we noticed pulling into the parking lot was not a lot of spaces and a small building compared to most breakfast spots in myrtle area. We didn't let that steer us away because we wanted to try the good food according to Google reviews score.

We walked inside of the building and immediately noticed about a third of the tables were dirty with empty plates on them. We asked to have a table cleaned for us when we placed our order.

Placing our order we all wanted a traditional style breakfast with eggs and a meat. I got the biggest meal I could find on the menu since I was starving with a big appetite. The meal had 2 eggs. A small piece of sausage and a biscuit with sausage gravy.

The food was excellent, but for me I could have ate two of those. The portions could definitely be improved on if you want to compete with some of the bigger breakfast places. Its bad when a McDonald's sausage patty is bigger than yours.

My father ordered coffee and said it was lukewarm, only after he complained 3 times fresh coffee was made.

Overall we loved the biscuits, which seems to be this places niche, hence the name of the place. Unless you really want a biscuit meal I don't see this competing with other bigger places. They seemed understaffed and struggling to make the orders fast enough for the summer crowd.

While I enjoyed the food I don't see myself coming back when there's tons of competition with better portions and actual waiters to serve...

We visited twice in as many days and I would've completed the threepeat if we didn't need to leave for home before they opened. The true measure of any biscuit house is the quality of, shockingly, their biscuits. While this is a pretty obvious statement, we've all fallen victim to hard dry, and wholly undesirable specimens from places that boldy claim them as their signature dish. I can confidently attest that Millstone falls nowhere near this class of sad brekkie purveyors and is very much worth your consideration for your most important meal of the day.

Across our visits we sampled the steak biscuit, BEC, sausage biscuit with hashbrown, and their epic burrito to broaden our sample pool. They all were hits with an especially emphatic hat tip to the quality of their biscuits: huge, fluffy, and the perfect vessel for all that Millstone offers.

Tables are adorned with pre-portioned butter, jams, s & p, hot sauce, and ketchup which covers most of your condiment needs. Space is limited on the inside, so you might find the need to order to go and enjoy your meal offsite.

Overall, I was very impressed by the food and service to match. 5 stars, we'll be back on...
