Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Garden City

I really do love Jets pizza however their standards have decreased over the years to the point I have to build enthusiasm before I order. My disappointment however seems to never let me down. Tonight again I ordered pizza and a salad for lunch at work and only being allowed a short time for that break I picked up my order and arrived in time to open the box and see a VEGGIE PIZZA in place of a SUPREME. I hate olives and it was swimming in them so even taking them off as much as possible you still have the reminents and flavor of something you would never ask for. Not enough time to play a replacement game with that location. I called the manager with hopes of an apology and replacement another time. I was told I could have a $8.00 credit in the future and when I expressed disappointment she increased the offer to $10.00. I paid $16.00 and change for the incorrect order. So let's be clear here, I paid for a product that they screwed up on but they will give me another chance to correct THEIR ERROR for a discount. I'm insulted beyond consolation. The confusion here is replacement not credit. I took TIME that can't be refunded and GAS to pick this order up to be told I am eligible for a credit. As a manager and a possible customer of any business would you not expect to be refunded REPLACEMENT of the order you paid for? Make sure you repeat your order several times to be clear so as not to be treated with little dignity by the so called...

Wonderful Service from the front staff! Had to place a large order for one of our customers and the food was prepared quickly, was still hot and gooey when we delivered it, was actually made properly the first time. I really appreciate the staff asking if there was anything else I needed before I left. I had nearly forgotten the side orders of dressing they wanted. Will definitely be back for more.

This review has been changed on 12/1/2017. Recently I needed to place a delivery order for a relatively small order, two large pizzas. I always pay by card before I pick up or have it delivered, but this time I was unable to have it delivered. See, I needed it delivered to one of my clients and I was told that I would need to be present at the time of delivery so they can verify the card I used for payment was in fact mine. I declined the order to be delivered and had to send someone to pick it up and deliver it ourselves. This was a huge inconvenience for us. This is my second time to this pizzeria this location, Jets is one of my favorites but in my opinion this is one of the worst jet pizza locations . When I went in months ago I told the cashier how I wanted my pizza , I hate the pizza when it’s overly cooked and the crust is hard and dry. But whoever cooked the pizza did just what I didn’t want him/ her to do which was over cooked it. I lived too far to take it back that was about a year ago. Now I was in the area of the garden city location on Ford rd, and decided to give them another chance I felt maybe they could have new cooks. But no I went yesterday evening 10-11-25 and same thing pizza was so damn dry and over cooked, I have learned my lesson I will never frequent this particular location again.
