My buddies were really busy today. They were also understaffed and probably a little overwhelmed, because custimers were coming nonstop. Today I had an all-meat omelet that was loaded with The Meats. If you're a meat lover, this is the omelet for you. I had a side of crispy (on request) hashbrowns, and toast I was too full to eat. The Husband had his usual - steak medium rare, eggs over-easy, crispy hashbrowns, toast,and the other half of my omelet. We both enjoyed our breakfast inmensely. Read more*UPDATE 11 .05.22 - This morning's visit is definitely an indication that Sunny Side Up - Hwy 80 location- has seen better days. When you enter the establishment, a very unappetizing odor hits you in the face. Our service was slower than usual with one waitress working. We got our coffee and water promptly enough. We also got plastic cutlery - for me, that's ok with an omelet. But picture the husband attempting to cut his not-medium-rare-as-requested steak (well done) with a plastic knife. The building could really use a good, disinfecting floor to ceiling scrub down. Everything feels and looks sad and grimy like nobody has cared for a very long time.
