Dollar Tree — Local services in Garden City

This is your typical Dollar Tree, nothing terrible or exceptional about it but the reason I'm giving it a one star is due to the treatment of its customers by its employees. I'm specifically speaking about Toya. I did call to make a formal complaint but no one answers the phone there. I can't really explain how I felt like I was such a nuisance just to check out with Toya. She stared me down like she was going to beat me up because I told her I couldn't get one item or mine. I tried to be extra friendly and said thank you and have a good day to which she completely ignored. It was just an unpleasant experience to be treated like that thru no fault of your own. I understand having a bad day but to be rude and negative to people who have nothing to do with that is unnecessary. This happened on August 29th 2023. I remember the day because I got into a car accident right outside and the last thing I needed was to be treated poorly when I just needed to grab a few items. Sorry to bother you at your job Toya. This store is terrible!!!! Every time you go in that ststo the line is all the way fowdown isle. With unhappy customers that walk out. Which shouldn't happen with them having 4 registers but never all of then open. At the mistthey may have 2 going. The westside shopping center is a very busy shopping center,and businesses do great,but the dollar tree has lost and will continue to loose more and more business with these practicing operating system. Get it together dollar tree!!!!! Mind you I work in the shopping center, so I'm in there all the time, this is not one time isolated incident. They employees are great, but the lack of employees is not great to make your business grow.
