Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Garden Grove

I love dairy queen. I usually go thru the drive thru but yesterday, my son & I decided to ride our bikes there to eat dinner. Well, you can't dine in. They have it all blocked off. You can't order food unless you walk your bike & order thru the drive thru. They will allow us to eat on the patio. Kind of a bummer since all restaurants have been open for dine in for over a year. We need up going to Shakys Pizza & ate dinner there.

The following day, we rode our bikes there to get some blizzards. Around 12:20pm, my son & I ordered 2 medium oreo mud blizzard. I paid $12.82. The price was $4.89 each but how it came out to $12.82 is weird. Once we got our order, both looked different. I asked the kid working the drive-thru why both look different. He shrugged his shoulders. Didn't say anything because he didn't care. We grabbed our blizzards and went to the patio. There was an employee on his break. I asked him if both were oreo mud blizzards. He said no. He was willing to make a new one but I told him no since my son was already eating his. After eating about an inch from top, he said it wasn't good. He held on to it til my buddy & I were done eating ours. We threw my son blizzard away.

Long wait times (regardless of how busy), pretty poor presentation, and they literally allowed a customer to leave over a package of sauce. Ordered 4 piece chicken, gave me one sauce and no catsup. Asked for catsup, girl disappeared for 4 minutes, came back with half a small container worth. Asked for a second sauce for the chicken and it became an issue, and told it was an extra charge. She went to the manager, and five minutes later a woman came by with the same line, extra charge for sauce. She was happy with me requesting a refund and not returning, over a paltry sauce (when there should be two in the first place). Kinda like forcing people to order more food to get an extra sauce.
