Gerard's Pizza — Restaurant in Gardiner

The customer is not right here.Bunch of young kids working that know nothing of good customer service. I called to order and clearly stated I was doing 2 10’ pizzas for 12.49 special.Ordered 1 bacon and 1 buffalo chicken and told the guy I was doing the 12.49 deal. (on the menu it does not specify buffalo chicken as a “specialty” pizza and it’s only 1 topping.)... I get a n there expecting to pay about $13 and the chick says I owe like $17..She tells me the buffalo chicken isn’t part of the deal. I explain how I was very clear on the phone and that the guy never said it was an issue so the deal should be honored.She refuses,then won’t even cut me a $1 dollar break when she sees I’m like a dollar short but still willing to pay like $3 more than I’m supposed to have too.🤦‍♂️She then gives an apology that she doesn’t mean as she does nothing to remedy the situation whatsoever. I walk out now with only 1 pizza.Absolutely unacceptable.They’re so greedy and sheisty here it makes me sick 😷 ...last time I ordered a pastrami sub they charged extra for pickles and lettuce too.WTF!🤷‍♂️Last I checked those are just toppings that are supposed to be on every sandwich and not “extras” yet they charge extra. Black olives completely littered the ENTIRE pizza, which was supposed to be a TACO pizza. The taco salad was just 6 small pieces of tomato, massive handfuls of lettuce and the chili is just dumped into into the lettuce, making it all soggy. Nothing taco about it; no taco meat whatsoever. Also the salad too was completely littered with black olives smooshed into everything. 11 dollars for nothing but lettuce, a few chips at the bottom, black olives and chili covering everything. Not a taco salad. It should be renamed a chili salad. As they should make an actual TACO salad. Should get lettuce and chili at Hannaford’s. It’d be much much cheaper. Pizza crust was way undercooked. Nervous about my children eating it!! Such steep prices for nothing. None of us...

Very good overall. Staff was lovely as well. I didn't go but my mom had much to say about their kindness. The pizza itself was awesome. It was a bit lacking in the sauce department but the rest was great. Good flavor overall, good cheese, great crust, and whatever sauce there was was pretty good. If you're in the area I definitely recommend getting takeout.

Edit: I came back here almost exactly a year later and my opinions have only slightly changed. I went in person this time instead of getting takeout and getting the pizzas in person revealed an unnecessary almost gross amount of grease on the pizza my sister and I split.
