I am a Door Dash driver and today I went to the Gardner Mr Goodcents and luckily my order was ready however another Door Dash driver told them the name of the person he was picking up for and the employee who I am assuming is a manager from the back asked how the guy could already be there when the order just came through? The DD driver said he was already close and the employee said that he would have to wait at least 15 minutes because they just got the order. He was VERY rude. The driver left, don’t know if he came back or if he cancelled the order, I would have. While they were handing my order to me the employee Came out from the back and was saying I don’t know how these DoorDash drivers (while I am standing right there at the counter listening to him) come in here and think their orders are going to be ready when we just received the orders and I told the guy we get the order on our phone, it tells us what restaurant and we go there, it does not tell us to wait. So he said to me VERY RUDELY, “Well From now on if you see you have an order for Mr. Goodcents in Gardner just plan on waiting 15 minutes, go get a cup of coffee or I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU DO but it won’t be ready for 15 minutes!” I took my order and when I was walking out I told him it is not the drivers problem and if he had an issue he could contact Door Dash. If he is a manager, he should not be. Rude as hell and you don’t talk to customers like that that have not even said anything to you to cause any issue. Wish I would have got his name, skinny rude guy with glasses who is a terrible example...
Read moreIt was okay. Not to grand, but not bad either. The lady forgot to ask me if I wanted my sub cooked or not. As a guy that forgets quite a bit. Yeah that's crucial for me. All the girls that were working had their hair up in a bun, but still there hair was in front of their face and so my wife found a hair in her food. So for subway. There bread is thicker. Well most of it from my opinion. Here. Their bread is thinner (much thinner) , but with more toppings. Now. Let me be the first to tell you. Remember: less is more. When I began eating. The toppings were falling out and all together it was a huge mess. I couldn't even pick up the sub without a quarter of my toppings falling out within my hands. They were dead when I arrived and there were tables still dirty and before someone tells me "maybe they had a lot to do" yeah. False. There were 3 standing around doing absolutely nothing. Hell I knew one of that girls relationship status It was loud and didn’t have a care in the world who heard. If that woman is reading this. Leave him. . Honestly. I think this place needs some serious adjustments. Would I go back?...
Read moreJust as we walked in, the point-of-sale terminal started having problems. The cashier was talking to the corporate support team, and they said they would be addressing it from their end. Then, the system completely locked up, and the crew was unable to process orders.
Michelle, the manager-on-duty, handled the situation extremely well, and had one of the workers post a sign on the door indicating they were temporarily closed and that they could only handle pick-ups that had already been purchased online. There was one family who was caught in the middle of having their meals prepped when the system went down. Michelle instructed her crew to take their contact information and they would process the payment when the system was up. The customer was happy because they were able to get their order and get their kids home.
I thought Michelle did a great job, working the situation (including being on the phone with support), dealing with the customers, and giving instructions to the rest of the crew. She showed great poise and calm, and the situation turned out better than I expected it to be.
Great...
