Not sure yet - the employees are very sweet. My husband's hot latte was lukewarm (he had just received it) and just tasted like a dead espresso shot in watered down milk. Honestly, I hate to say that, but it's true. We had ordered two hot chocolates for our kids and asked if they could be "kids temp" - the hot chocolates were both far too hot for the kiddos to drink, so definitely not kids temp. This could definitely be an instance where this is just strictly a tea place, obviously that's what it's marketed as. But I do feel if you're going to sell coffee too, it should be at least at the right temperature and not taste watered down. I've heard that the owners are really great from the FB page and the reviews, and feel this is probably just an instance of new employees getting used to the menu since it just opened. We'll definitely come back and give it a try a few more times, and also try to iced tea at some point since that's what this place is all about. Otherwise, the drivethru wasn't too long and it didn't take long to get our order. Just wanted to leave a constructive review so that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery weird interactions with employees. Went through the drive thru. The girl taking our order seemed confused/ didnāt seem to understand. When we got up to the window we asked to have the order repeated just to make sure it was correct. The guy at the window looked at us like we were crazy. Got the order & it was wrong. I went inside to explain we got the wrong order. The girl at the counter didnāt hear me and told me I was wrong and needed an upcharge (which I would have paid, I just wanted the correct drink that I ordered?? Like why would that change what I ordered??) I explained my order again. She looked at me and sighed then told someone else to make the correct order. Needless to say, listening to an order and asking questions must be hard lol Iāll just go inside from now on as I didnāt know you could just make your own. Iāll continue to go because the drinks are good but some better customer service is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go there at least once a week since they've opened. Let me preface by saying, at first it was great, and the manager even asked me how they could improve ECT. You could tell he cared about the service and the product he was providing.
However, every single time I go it never fails I have to give my drink back because it's missing something. Which is annoying but I don't mind that as much. For me, it's really the lack of customer service.
The blatant rudeness and protesting how they think my drink should be (more or less milk) after I paid for extra milk. Not to mention the time it takes from everyone (myself and those in line) for the person making the drink to be combative instead of being friendly and customer service forward so we can all have a pleasant experience.
I hope this improves. I enjoy the tea, and supporting our small town businesses but you can't justify going when you continue...
