McDonald's — Restaurant in Gardner

So...McDonald's, for me, usually is a go to for those "cheat days" where I don't feel like cooking and don't want to spend a lot of money. But this location has instantly changed my mind on that being an option after just 7 different visits. I moved to Gardner in August, and found out REAL quick that this location should only be visited for breakfast options. Which, for some reason, they don't serve breakfast all day like every other Mickey-D's I have ever ordered from in multiple states across of the entire USA (every other McDonalds does a minimal breakfast option all-day; not here). I tried going here at different times of the day to see just why I keep getting cold, burnt food. It's usually starting with my fries. No one likes oversalted, cold and stale fries, but for some reason EVERY TIME I go here, that is the case. Not to mention the buns are usually stale (like they were microwaved), and burgers are WAY TOO salty, cold and nasty to even finish. Kid meals were no different, kids didn't finish their happy meal, aside from their apple slices and milk (which isn't surprising because its not made in the store). Kids not finishing happy meals told me I wasn't the only one to dislike this location. I mean I tried here 4 different times for lunch/dinner menu and ALL 4 TIMES, it's like a broken record of nasty McDonalds food. They just kept breaking my heart on how bad the food is, because where they are located, it would be really nice to have a McDonald's in the area that knew how to make the simplest of cheeseburgers. They even messed up a filet-o-fish. Cold burnt fried fish atop a stale and wrinkled bun that was microwaved, with cold cheese and not even enough tartar sauce to make up for how dry the fish and bread was. I am utterly disappointed at this place. I didn't just give them a second, or third chance to redeem themselves. I gave them 4 chances, and it all added up to sorr disappointment. Whoever works in the mornings, I applaud the staff, not for friendliness (cause that was definitely lacking at the drive-thru) but for being able to put together the menu items such as breakfast platters, sausage egg & cheese mcmuffins, burritos and mcgriddles. Those staff members know how to make breakfast, as for the afternoon/evenings, if ever we wanted McDonald's, I drive all the way to the Olathe location, because how much this store has...

I went there with a friend around 9;30ish i never really like McDonald's. But my friend was really hungry so we went there. When we got there we had a pretty long time to wait but to be fair it was pretty busy the night. So when we finally got our order my friend got the wrong milkshake and he was pretty clear on what he wanted and they didn't give my drink till we got our order. They accidentally gave us an extra burger and I did tell the lady who gave us the order and she handle the situation pretty well. but while eating a customer came in very upset claiming that she got her order wrong twice and has now been waiting in her car for 3 minutes. So they fixed the order and they got it right this time. But I will admit that woman was an complete ass. Then an employee agreed with me and he stared tell me this story about this woman who also did the same thing and he told me that the manger in this story reacted negativity to her response and said some vulgar words to her. While standing there and not doing his job the manger walked over to his employee and asked him to get back to the cleaning. But instead of listening to his manager he just mouthed off at him which I thought was very rude and unprofessional. Then done lipping of to his manager the manager just walked off to go help his other employees that were working. Then my friend then asked him why he just lipped off to his manager and the employee gave a stupid reason why he did. But in the story he was telling us he thought that he needed to cuss in front of us and kids that were in other booths. And then my friend got angry about this and started to tell him off. Then the assistant manager came and asked us if we were having problems with his employee. I lied to him and told him that we were fine and thanked him for his concern. But then the dumb ass employee told me that the assistant manager was just joking around and said that he is not to be taken seriously. So my friend and I were done eating our food and I refilled my drink and we left. And my friend was pretty annoyed and complained the whole way to my house about...

Everything about this visit was horrible. We were the only customers in the building and we still had to wait almost 10 minutes for someone to come to the counter. Once we finally got to order, we sat down with our drinks, waiting for our food. A guy working for Door Dash walked in, and they tried to give him our food. He checked the order and said it wasn't his. They put it somewhere in the back. About 20 minutes later, we asked where our order was. They grabbed it from the back and gave it to us. It was sitting in the back, not even under the heat lamps, for 20 minutes. We took the food and left because it was late and we had a long drive and didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. Once we got in the car, everything was cold. The order was messed up, they put my step daughter's and my husband's tea in the bags with the food (even though the have them tea at the time we ordered) and the condensation from the cups made the food soggy. I ordered nuggets with honey mustard sauce. They gave BBQ. My step daughter ordered 6 piece nuggets, they gave her 4. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger, they gave him a single. We will never return to...
