I agree with the other reviews I saw, you cant go here expecting high end cuisine. It's like being transported in time to a charming diner. Every single person i encountered was kind and accommodating and the food was great. Make sure to bring cash because they don't accept cards, which was a bit of a bummer because I wanted to pay for lunch with my little sister but that isn't uncommon nor is it a deterrent for me in returning in the future. I hope business is prosperous because I've heard nothing but kind words about the owners and the loyal regulars that sit at the counter....

Going here is like going to your uncle Billy‘s house to grab a quick lunch and a chat. you just want a cheeseburger cooked for you from a quick stop at Hannaford’s . Friendly people and they’re very nice honestly. Wasn’t upset with the food by any means. Just plain old average food that you pay for when you don’t feel like cooking. I will totally be here again, but I won’t be ordering any Budweiser 9 AM.😂 don’t not go here cause I put three stars its average just give them a visit. They deserve the business. They have been around for 80+ years...

The Paramount Cafe is a must stop. I needed a quick bite, so I stopped by The Paramount — the oldest restaurant in Gardner. I figured a classic cheeseburger would hit the spot, and it didn’t disappoint. Cooked right in front of me with all the toppings I wanted, it was simple, satisfying, and exactly what you’d hope for.
