We just got home from having a fabulous dinner at the Hawthorne location. I had ordered ice cream without syrup or whipped cream for dessert, but when it came it had whipped cream, so they took it back. The owner then came to the table to apologize that they ran out of ice cream and offered other desserts instead. I said it was fine since I didn't really need the ice cream anyway. Then our waitress came to over to apologize as well, and again I said it was totally fine and no need to apologize. We asked for the check and I went to the bathroom. When I returned to the table, the was a dish of vanilla ice cream at my seat. The owner ran out and bought more vanilla ice cream! I was blown away. I couldn't believe it. This place is AWESOME. Best bar I've been too in a long while. I usually order food from because everything is just delicious on their menu. My faves so far are the Blackjacks burger, onion rings, corned beef sandwich and last night it was the pork tacos. They give you a good portion and the prices are very affordable allowing you to the purchase multiple items of the menu. The drinks are good and the atmosphere was just awesome. Friendly patrons, a mix of ages but all there to have a good time. I really enjoyed myself esp with sounds from DJ Lady Star and excellent customer service. I love coming to this place. They have amazing food and friendly service. Sometimes unfortunately you get people that come in and get drunk and talk a lot of nonsense about other people unprovoked. That’s why I give the atmosphere a 4/5 stars, because most of the time it’s peaceful but occasionally you’ll have that happen. Also, my favorite thing to order from there is the Penne Alla Vodka with grilled chicken. highly recommend it I’ve had Penne Alla Vodka from so many places throughout my life, but this place makes it amazing and the peas attitude is a nice touch never seen that before.
